Summer transfer window 2021.
Armchair supporter supremo replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
you dont like the guy because he's injury prone! I mean i totally understand you not wanting to sign him due to his injury record. but saying you don't like him is something else. I don't like Dack! but it's not cos of his injury record it's becuse he's a little jumped up reality tv rat that i cant relate to at all. not a bad little player when fully fitvthough though. -

yes totally, but on the other hand as things stand they're paying his full salary even though he's not in the clubs plans at all, so sure there must be a big compromise on their part and it's not like Man united are short of money! so taking the occasional financial hit wouldn't be to big a deal for them. that said... if he does leave before his contracts up I do think it will be most likely to a prem club or possibly a club abroad on loan -
Can any player really physically and mentally recover from 2 very serious back to back injuries like that though, I think he's going to be joining the long list of english footballs 'could've beens' Im sure he'll still have the occasional little purple patch here and there but I can't see him starting 35/40+ games a year anymore and he's already fast approaching his late 20s

I think jones would be a very good player for Newcastle to get in on loan for their relegation fight -

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/exclusive-blackburn-rovers-among-sides-plotting-manchester-utd-transfer-swoop/ Would Love Jones to come back here and become a talisman and captain fantastic for us! Can't see it happening at all due to the obscenely high wages that he's now used to and obviously his injury and fitness record throughout his career so far has been miserable af! (poor lad 😞 ) But I do feel he has unfinished business here(and a point to prove in general) would be great to get him in on loan for the rest of the season, even if we have to wrap him in cotton wool in training he's still head and shoulders above any defender at this club quality wise. shit id even give Mowbray some real credit if he could get him in playing regularly and getting anywhere close to the best out of him. -
getting into Narcos: Mexico season 3 Just so good, the level of quality never drops on that show and I love the guy the Plays El Chapo, just perfect casting👌

Happy Kean Out Day

The fact no other British club has wanted anything to do with him in the past 10 years says it all. (Although I'd actually like to see him given a role at a English club again just to reaffirm and remind everyone what a rotten bag of 💩 he is) -
Never been a fan of Dack as an individual, if it wasn't for his goals I'd be happy to see the back of him. Not sure where he's even going to fit into the team once fit, he only seems to do well when the teams built around him and he's given a free role behind a centre forward in a more 4411 formation

New Games/General Gaming

I think That was the last one that I bought also, but then only played it for one evening before losing interest. Yeh I know most things can be delegated, its more the stuff like media interviews , team and staff meetings, pre/post match team meetings, [layer data analysis etc.. that i find tedious, but those things can really effect things like player moral and job security, etc... so if you delegate them and the delegated person does a poor job then it effects how the game's going i think might give the new one a go just to take over Newcastle haha Sadly i've loads of spare time in the evenings to be unproductive with!🙈 especially now the nights are drawing right in and winters on our doorstep It's just whether I can fit it in between binge watching box sets -

it was more his ramblings in response to my post that I was referring to 🙂 Although... Mike E was clearly just indulging in a bit of wishful thinking! his comments didn't really warrant chuddys patronising response. -

was a real cm/fm addict in my teens & 20s up to my early 30s! but then a few years ago really struggled to get into it at all, I think mainly because they've just on way overboard in some areas of the game making it even more time consuming and even tedious than it needs to be. But I do miss it and am tempted to give fm22 a go -

fed up of these kinds of comments from Mowbray as well -'But Mowbray is clear that Pickering is the club's first choice left-back and believes that though there are aspects he still needs to improve upon, there is certainly resale value to the Premier League if the player develops as the Blackburn boss envisages.' Just shows that promotion is not a target for him what-so-ever and he seems to just see his job at the club is just to tart up promising players and sell them on for a profit asap to clubs that are actually trying to get promoted or already in the prem. Which in my opinion is just a soulless way to run a football club and completely lacking any ambition. #Mowbray Out #Waggot Out #Hughes In ( just my personal preference) -

I'm so out of touch with football other than rovers I dont even recognise half those names! but I trust your judgement Mike E 😄 so would welcome any with open arms. p.s. I think Eddie Howes Newcastle stint will turn into a circus(not by his doin though!) So wouldn't be surprised to see him available again at the end of the season -

" 1st season - the form under him was excellent and we were very unfortunate to go down in the end. 2nd season - promoted on first time of asking **with a squad full of championship level players and a higher transfer kitty than others in that league. 3rd season - comfortably avoided relegation zone and started the rebuild of the squad in the Championship **Meh 4th season - top half finish **and🤷♂️ 5th season - this was the only major disappointment for me. We had a squad that was capable of promotion but we let it slip. Although I think a ridiculous number of injuries were the main contributor to our loss of form, TM didn’t make things better with a lot of baffling decisions" **It was a complete shit show and he should have been fired well before the season ended. We had 3/4 of the very best attacking players and goalscorers in the league, all he had to do was keep our defensive side and game management reasonably organised and we would have walked into the play offs with ease. -

No. Enough is well and truly enough and more fool you if you really think this season is going to be any bettter than last come next May with him at the helm. Plus after yet another arrogant little tirade at the fans the other day I can't stand the cretin now at a personal level. -

i know they've all been offered new contracts!! as for "improved" contacts that's pretty vague and likely means still pretty crap compared to what they could get elsewhere. not interested in theorising whobwe could sign, because until Mowbrays gone it makes no difference. -

Warnock and Mccarthy are past it now it seems, but their career record as a managers up until the last couple of years speaks for itself when it comes to championship clubs and reaching play offs, promotions with various clubs of different statures -

see people moan because they don't think we could atract a decent manager.... yet crapholes like boro don't seem to struggle finding reasonable looking replacements. although no matter what club you are or how much money you offer them to spend on players etc... it's always hitNmiss, just look at the constant merry go round of managers at the big city prem clubs, but its a risk you HAVE to take when necessary. even the likes of pep are only ever one bad run of results away from being under serious pressure of getting sacked. -

unless there's premiere league clubs after them then I'm pretty sure our best players would be more than happy to stick around for at least another season if we offered them good contracts and put a manager in charge that they really get off on.
