  1. is the Luca Toni deal happening or not?
  2. Ian Poveda boys got some dribbling Skillllz, kinkladze esque! at youth level. hardly looks a 'mowbray type player' though, if he was to come in and get starts ahead of Chapman then poor Chapman must have had a crack at mowbrays missus or something...
  3. Mowbray has now way surpassed even Steve Kean with his bullshitisms in regards to Chapman... "is he going to stay here and get 10 or 15 games off the bench, or is he going to go somewhere and play 30 games and hopefully score 10 goals" the hell drugs is this buffon on!
  4. couple more wins and then i bet Mowbray will be offered a new contract. .....meanwhile 3+ of our best assets are still to recieve a decent contract offer and will be free to leave for nothing
  5. Anthony Jeselnik๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ He's pretty unheard of in this country but he's fkin outrageously funny(literally) i think a couple of his specials where on netflix
  6. I'm sure you could. were a desperate club desperately trying fill shirts without having to commit to signing long term contracts.
  7. I'm saying we shouldn't have to be paying to develop and increase the value of other clubs players, their clubs should just be greatful that we're offering them competitive game time and continued training and coaching at some of the best training facilities in the country.
  8. where did those assists and goals get us. whose to say Chapman couldn't have done just as well if he'd have been given as much game time and positional freedom as Elliot had
  9. ๐Ÿ’ฏ ๐Ÿ‘Œ unless there's a possibility(or even just a slight chance!) of us being able to sign the player after the loans up then I'm not a fan of it.
  10. genuinely have no idea why we have to pay fees and wages for inexperienced youth players from top 6 clubs! surely both long & short term both the player and their parent clubs are getting far more out of the deal
  11. i never said he was a good midfielder, just that that's his preferred position(be his own acounts) I just think he's mediocre defender at best, this 'warrior' talk is nonsense unless they have good ability to go with it, otherwise they're just a liability.
  12. sorry that was supposed to sarcastic wasnt it! 'learn to play centre half from lenihan' ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ he forgets how to do it himself most weeks, personally i still don't see him as a natural centre back, he's probably the most overated player in our 1st team.
  13. As much as i like the lad (as a footballer and a person).... anyone else starting to think the whole "Diaz" thing is starting to look a little silly now!
  14. absolutely! Cole was in great form and looked to be really enjoying his football before Yorke joined.
  15. our current form (well i say current but its been going on since promotion) reminds me of how we where doing under Steven Kean in the championship, playing shite but picking up odd goals against the run of play simply because we have some quality attacking players that dont need too many chances to score not because of the managers tactics or anything. get Mowbray out, please!
  16. !!! just a heads up to the dozens of people/lazy cheap skates that normaly park on and around the animal trust/manxman car park(and grass๐Ÿ˜ ).... The vets is now open 7 days a week so the carpark will be busy and full of pet owners so please use your brains and be considerate enough to park elsewhere so that you do not disrupt the vet practices goings on.
  17. he does remind me a lot of a young kevin philips, but the prems changed a lot since Phillips day (and not for the better sadly, unless namby pamby zero contact and tactically dull football is your thing๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ)
  18. Rarely do players that leave rovers for a large fee improve or personally achieve much after leaving, most seem to become injury prone and their careers just quietly fizzle away. sad but true.
  19. im hoping on the slight possibility that the venkys have took mowbrays credit cards off him because they now also want him gone and are hoping that he'll quit and take his cronies with him when results don't go his way and the fans(now back in the stands) get right on his case.
  20. im not even much of a drinker but I think if i was threatened with golf I'd quickly stock upbon the old 20/20 ๐Ÿ˜…
  21. id say try going completely tee total for a week and if you cant even get through a few days without it then you may want to speak to a professional(assuming you don't want to become a full blown alcoholic!)
  22. So basically it appears there will be no incomings of any kind until Armstrong is sold. And even then we will just be back to scraping the barrel, the club seems to have regressed 5 years since Christmas.
