  1. Loved Meatloaf, got to see him a few times and he always put on a great show, one of the few records that was played very regularly in our home growing up. We're now seriously running out of true living music legends and icons 😞 (and yet kieth Richards is still knockin about πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ˜…)
  2. I cant watch anything like this anymore, just too depressing and i feel the shows are usually just covering old ground, it's a shame that even after all this time the wounds still seem so fresh for those that where directly involved and they can't move on from it 😞
  3. Really enjoying Archive 81 on netflix for anybody looking for something a bit different! Kinda early Polanski with a bit of Lynch and a touch of Kubrick vibe (3 of my fave directors)
  4. I wouldn't trust Mowbray with 20 m8ll to spend! We'd need players that can come in and hit the ground running but he'd be looking at players that may(or may not) come good in a few years
  5. As terrible for our season as it would be to lose Brereton now, i still think anybody paying 20+million for him would end up being quite disappointed, just as Southampton are with poor Armstrong
  6. What we really need is a proper impact sub! Someone that can just come on and really ruffle some feathers and stir things up, a dickov, bellamy type of charecter, but naaa not with mowbray, he cant handle MEN with strong outspoken personalities.
  7. We absolutely need a new senior striker in. like now! I wonder with Gallagher just signing a new contract whether that effects how much funds the venks are willing to release for another new centre forward
  8. We haven't remotely being playing like "the harlem globe trotters" during our good run! Our form was built on finding a system that works, playing players in their more natural positions and having a solid defence. Most of that went out of the window before the start whistle was even blown last night. But hey ho! Hopefully trying to stay positive and putting it down as a blip(instead of a turning point🀞)
  9. fkin mowbray reverting to type and back to square pegs in round holes just to appease his favourites
  10. Pointless having him on the pitch at all unless he's playing centre forward, Where's Dolan is he injured??or even give Chapman a shot!
  11. Yep, i think it's more addictive than any drug(legal or illegal) The only difference is that unlike some of the stronger drugs nicotine it kills you slowly and by the time you really start feeling the negative effects you'll already be heavily addicted.
  12. "a lot of corruption back then" not much has changed from what i can see, nicoteen supliers seem to use the same strategies & tactics as the "big pharmas" when it comes to pushing products that they know full well do more harm than good once in the hands of the general public.
  13. Your kinda splitting hairsand and if you think vaping is "healthy" or at least not particularly "unhealthy" then crack on, but more fool you I say. When your throat and lungs are buggered(along with god knows what else) and you're in and out of the hospital you can take it up with them πŸ‘
  14. I take your point I suppose. But still neither are healthy! But both are unhealthy. Does that clarify my point πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
  15. What are the odds on eurogarages becoming ourcmain sponsor if we got into the prem i wonderπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I get the sense they're not interested in rovers and football in general but it would still make great business sense for both parties to get together at some point if the clubs on the up.
  16. Vaping is far from healthier than smoking! It's just as far as we know at the moment not as unhealthy. Big difference in my mind. (Niether are healthy!!)
  17. It is absolutely fk8n absurd when smokers, vapers, junk food eaters, even drinkers tbh.... Say they're anti vac As for having nicotine products being prominently endorsed by a professional football club! Thats just absolutely fkin twisted and sends out a completely poor message to young or easy influenced supporters
  18. Yes, getting that way... Just depends what he's been doing with his time off! Ie. Has he been keeping up with latest training methods ect.. By visiting clubs and observing or has he just been on the golf course. Whenever I've seen him in interview the past year he has still seemed passionate and hungry for the game, I also think it's largely down to who he gets as has his number 2 if he gets a new gig because I think maybe his partnership with Mark Bowen isn't as fruitful as it once was
  19. I'm suprised Hughes never gets a mention for the Everton job, I think hed be a pretty perfect fit, Very Similar managerial style to Moyes, plus he had a little spell with them as a player before signing for us. Duncan Ferguson even as caretaker would be terrible.
  20. Well doneπŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œhttps://media3.giphy.com/media/2xPGQWsvyztoneIerN/200.gif
  21. Not disagreeing with you ✌️or trying to be pessimistic, just speaking in general not about todays game/goal that I've not yet even seen πŸ‘
  22. Best signing we could make is Rothwell on a new 2/3 year deal, if he's not worth breaking the current 'wage structure' for then I don't know who is!! all the others on expiring contracts are replaceable, but players with his attributes are few and far between outside of the prem. (and he's one of the few players in the squad that could probably make the step up to prem standard if we got promoted)
