  1. I hope Mark Hughes has got his mojo for management back, very suprised that he's had to drop down to division 2 to get a job, but wish him all the best, a real coup for Bradford, good luck to them. Gutted he's not back here in place of our horrid stale fart of a manager.
  2. You openly wanted him gone after the Fulham game.End of story.
  3. Ive Really been biting my tongue about shitty Mowbray the last month or so and giving him some (deserved) leeway due to the excellent form leading up to the new year and hoping that the last few weeks where just a blip, but naaa , its the first half or so of the season that was a blip, now its back to Tonys clueless ways and sadly also reaping the just deserts of another poor transfer window.
  4. Yes that was the real kicker for me when he joined Newcastle so soon after. If he'd have just gone of and completely retired i could accept that, but no I bet like most things in football it probably came down to money. Maybe he wanted to renegotiate his contract for a big pay raise after winning the league, but Walker well renowned for being stubborn when it came to salaries 🤷‍♂️
  5. Absolutely! I Can't even think about what might have been if we'd have brought in a quality high profile manager to replace Dalglish! Total fairyvtale thinking but what if we'd have nabbed Arsen Wenger at that stage before he went to Arsenal, how different would the prem be now if that had happened 🤯 Realistically I'm not sure who we could have hired though!!?? Jack Walker was making some odd/poor decisions around that time There's a another question to ponder over! Personally I felt very let down by Dalglish for just suddenly quitting like he did The premier league in general was going through such a big transition at that time with the influx of foreign players and managers having a big influence on our game
  6. The reality is that once Dalglish quit as manager we lost all pulling power overnight and couldn't attract high quality or high profile players no matter how much we offered
  7. There's also the Elephant in the room of where are they going to keep finding all the raw materials from that make up the batteries on these vehicles thay they hope will one day soon be replacing the the hundreds of millions of petrol & diesel vehicles currently on the rd AND what about environmental and ethical issues that come with mining these raw materials
  8. like i say electric items may have less moving components, but once something does go wrong it's usually far more cost effective to replace them instead of repairing. Rechargeable batteries naturally deteriorate over time and become less and less able to maintain a good charge Proof will be in the pudding though, still a few years off before knowing how they'll go and I'm sure in the future electric cars will be much cheaper to produce.
  9. Won't be long until something mysteriousy happens to maxwell I know its just conspiracy theories, but... I really wouldn't be suprised to find none are dead and their deaths where faked, they'd easily have the money, power and contacts to pull something like that off. There where some photos supposedly showing Epsteins body/corpse being loaded into the ambulance after his death and close ups of the face looked nothing like Epsteins really. Ya never really know whats going on in this world anymore
  10. Just a slight aside... How grotesque and unnecessary does the bbc drama about Jimmy Savile look, nobody needs to see this and there's already plenty of thorough documentaries around detailing his scummy life & crimes. Also i can't stand Steve Coogan at the best of times and he looks absolutely nothing like Savile in any way
  11. But that's what I'm saying, once they get to an age where theyre relatively more affordable they will be to much of a gamble even to just spend a few grand on, because they could just go completely caput in an instant and become irreparable at any moment
  12. I just want my little 13 year old F reg Vauxhall Nova 1.2 merit back, best car ever, nippy af and probably the most fuel efficient car I've had and only cost me 300 quid. I'd never have a Tesla at any price, purely for the same reasons I've never owned an apple product.
  13. yep but 4.5 years is nothing really for any car if its serviced well. but when something does go wrong its not like you can just go and buy cheaper aftermarket parts and get your local mec to sort it.is it? I imagine it will all have to be done officially through the manufacturers dealers(ie. rip off merchants)
  14. Just cant see used fully electric cars beaing available at under a few thosand for at least 7 years. But the bigger problem/question will they even remotely last anywhere near that long before they're just a heap of burnt out irreplaceable circuits, battery and scrap. Admittedly I've never really looked into the nuts and bolts of electric vehicles, but like any electrical item they will usually just have a limited shelf life before they are just burnt out and unrepairable, where as petrol or diesel vehicles can easily last 15+(or 200,000miles) years if well looked after, as most parts are relatively easily replaced) I think the kind of people that will be buying electric cars are the kinds that would just go out and buy a new car and then replace it for another new car within 5 years or so anyway, for more lower income working class folk or people that don't give enough of a crap about cars to justify spending more than a few thousand on one then i think it will be unlikely used electric vehicles will last long enough for us to buy a used one(that still has years of life left in it anyway!)
  15. But he comes back tolife as an evil zombie nazi working for Russia But yeah. Shit film.
  16. Is Dack not even ready for a spot on the bench yet?
  17. Yeah the shows definitely ran its course(and long since run out of new ideas!)
  18. Agree on stewart lee, he's in a league of his own, but sorry, Jamali maddix seems awful from what ive seen of hom on tv
  19. Yep saw Stewart lee live very recently, his long bit with his impression of Chappelle in his dressing room before a show wooing a woman with the rotisserie chickens was brilliant 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And his general take on the current American stand up comedians was pretty spot on 😂 Normally find David Chappelles stand up specials pretty brilliant tbh, but personally i think the main reason his latest show revieved so much controversy was becausr it simply wasn't very funny!! And just came across pretty desperate to me how he spent most the show trying to justify his opinions. And him using the argument that he can't be prejudice against the lgbt community because he had a trans friend seemed pretty lame to me (it's like someone saying they can't be racist because they have a black friend🙄)
  20. What else https://youtu.be/Ct6BUPvE2sM
  21. Probably just suits some types of businesses better than others
