  1. yes, its about time the authorities really investigated who is really in charge of the club (and not just whose name/s written on the paperwork as being the owners) Although in reality I'm 99.99999% certain that they will all know already but they couldn't care less
  2. Yes there may be lot out 'injured or unfit' But why couldn't we just simply have played a solid well balanced back 4 of Nyambe, Van Hecke, Wharton & Pickering and the packed out the midfield and just stuck Gallagher up top on his own if that's what it takes to try and stop the rot at least!!
  3. out of the play offs!! if the teams around us take advantage of their games in hand well be sandwiched slap ban in mid table, ZERO progress at all under Mowbray in whole his time here.
  4. Ain't you a charmer πŸ˜„ I scared to ask which stand ups really tickle your funny bones
  5. yep, wouldn't be surprised if they got Gervais to host it next year to really stir things up, all those horrid self congratulating mega rich celebs that go to that particular event really need bringing down to earth.
  6. Just a bizarre incident all around The Joke was lame (by Rocks usual hig standards) and imo not particularly mean spirited at all, just a bit childish if anything, even using G.I. Jane as a movie reference was pretty weak considering it was a terrible flop of a film that I doubt many under 35 would have even know of. Wills reaction was ridiculous! how arrogant and out of touch must he be to think that he could just attack and full on smack somebody in the face in front of millions of people and just get away with it! (Oh! wait!! so far he has absolutely got away from it in the eyes of the law! how it will effect his reputation and career is still to been seen...) The slap was just completely unnecessary and was a completely disproportionate reaction to the comments rock made, Will smith should have just stayed seated and shouted at him as he did after the slap!! that would have been more than enough to shut Rock up and defend his wife but for me the real villain of the piece is Jada smith, her complete over reaction(along with whatever she must have said to Will between the comment being made and will getting up) put Will in a position where he felt he had to do something to not only defend his wife but also to save face after he was caught laughing at the joke initially. But as I say it was just a bizarre incident and should never have happened, Chris Rock and Will Smith always both seem genuinely nice harmless men that wouldn't seek to deliberately hurt anybody, But tbh i've never liked Jada smith, she always seems a pretty horrible manipulative character
  7. Well I meant more in attitude really, they're both nippy, direct forwards with a lot of determination and enthusiasm(as derbyshire was when he first came on the scene for us!) only derbyshire had a reasonable goals record to begin with for a youngster.
  8. Only Kaminski has been a good value signing from that lot, Loans don't really count for much imo. They've not really improved our fortunes much and the loan players and their parent clubs and agents have got far more out of the deals than we have. Pickering, Meh!! He's given us a bit of balance on the left side but he's hardly the exciting prospect we where led to believe and the signing edun countered any possitives there. Dolan still has a lot to prove, right now he reminds me of mat derbyshire minus the goals!
  9. Mowbray out, Waggot out and whoever else they work directly alongside with at the club out. We need fresh ideas from top to bottom and also our recruitment has been awful the last couple of years so that team needs replacing to. Personally i think Mowbray will just walk at the end of his contract 🀞🀞 most of the players may respect and like him as a person, but as a manager they've clearer lost faith in his dubious(to put it lightly!) match day setups and team selections.
  10. I always found charlton under curbishley to be the most depressing ambitionless club though, even in the prem
  11. Not signing one last summer was pathetic, not signing one in January was pure neglect (from the board) and total incompetence (from the manager)
  12. Thanks I know im awkward but i can't watch weekly or with flippin ad breaks anymore! I might have to visit the bay πŸ™ˆ
  13. Finally finished gomorrah last night (all 5 seasons in around a month or so) Disappointed with the final season to be honest, i thought they undid alot of the good work from previous seasons πŸ˜” Also they unnecessarily killed off someone in season 4 that had become the best character in the show imo
  14. Anybody know where you can watch "Yellowstone"freely in the uk, none of the main streamers or sky seem to have it available? Just looks like something id enjoy ( Kevin Costner + westerns (usually) = πŸ‘Œ
  15. Too early to say, depends how this season ends... If we don't reach the play offs and lose most of our key players because they're either out of contract, loan ending or likely to be sold asap(bbd) then I'd say going into the summer our first team squad will be just as weak as it was when he took over, if not weaker depending on what signings are made in the summer. Other than the run we went on earlier this season there haven't really been any exciting times under Mowbray where I've felt we could seriously be on to something! even getting promoted from league one felt like more of just a relief than an achievement!
  16. Is it Lady luck OR just poor quality training and coaching leading to all these strain injuries
  17. Although I'm concerned that if Mowbray was sacked then his many many fanboys would take their frustrations out on whoever was brought in to replace him and just waiting for any excuse to get on their case.
  18. Bellamy would be interesting!! It would either be great or complete ArmageddonπŸ˜… Maybe something akin to when Roy Kean first took over Sunderland , Kean was great in his first year, getting the team revved up and super motivated as you'd expect from kean and promoted in his first season, but then I think his ego and old school bully boy style of man management got the better of him and things quickly went off the boil. Honestly though, I'm sick of repeating my self but Mowbray is history and we need a change...
  19. This talk of the owners making no money available!.... We signed 2 left backs in the summer for a total of over a million (plus likely future add ons for pickering) and neither of them have impressed much at this level. Most of mowbrays permanent signings in the championship have been poor, only dack, armstrong, kaminski and Brereton have been good, but the dack, kamiski and armstrong transfers where no brainers really considering what we initially paid for them, Breretons come good for half a season after 4 years of being a kevin dabies esque puncline, but i cant see him being as prolofic next season (when he'll likebe off anyway)
  20. Please don't tempt them 😩😩 I agree though
  21. Roberts at least had some other good qualities, if he'd been a good finisher he would have been top class!
  22. I don't know much about venus tbh, with Johnson i was just thinking more along the lines of him knowing our younger players very well having managed some at under 23 etc... And also having an ex rover in the dugout always gives fans a little boost initially. But honestly I'd have pretty much anyone in the dugout other than fkin Mowbray.
