  1. Pretty limp 2 second boo from the home crowd then drowned out my the music. He's 100% in kean territory now, not just a shiite manager but also toxic to the club.
  2. No. you just pick and choose the rumours that you like (or sometimes it just seems like you go along with the rumours that you think will antagonise the most posters)
  3. Dunn (im assuming you mean david!) as assistant (or even just as a coach at any level of the club) wow you've lost the plot there fella. What has Dunn done as a manager or coach to warrant that job? That really would be a step back into the bowyer days of 'jobs for the boys' may as well get colin hendry and craig short back on the coaching team as well πŸ™„
  4. Technically all true, Although if you where to compare the squad again in a month or so's time when all the out of contract players & loanees have gone and Brereton is on the verge of a move away, then I'd say the squad is probably even weaker than when he first took charge. Tony's "Journey" will have been about as enjoyable and fruitful as a lap around Blackburn sat on the back seats of the outer circle at 3pm with a bunch of school kids fannying about around you.
  5. Bit harsh on the players, most of them have shown plenty of potential at stages, I think the problem is how poorly they get coached and managed at first team level by mowbray and his sycophantic lackies. I'm sure with a better pedigree of coaches and a manager that inspires them they all have the potential to be good players (at championship level at least!) MOWBRAY AND CRONIES OUT!!!
  6. That's how Allardyce normally works as well isnt it!?
  7. Which young boys? And who exactly is he developing them for? Because as much as I love seeing home grown players come through... we're not really seeing enough money from it to make it worthwhile, only the players and their agents are really benefiting.
  8. Allardyce has nothing left to offer football and practically retired years ago but still pops up when he gets sniff of a big payday. I find it very funny/ironic that our fiercest rivals are close to becoming a freakshow, they spent the last 10 years bathing in our misfortunes!!
  9. I actually like Solskjaer πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ and would be happy to have him here (not expecting many to agree though πŸ˜„ but i really don't know why not)
  10. All of those managers bar Kean where potted once it was clear that things weren't working and the players weren't responding to them, Mowbray on the other hand is still here 3 years later!
  11. I know its silly but it's only the fact that he's Burnley to the bone that turns me off, under ANY other circumstances I'd take him in a heartbeat! Realistically though i don't think he'd even consider coming here for lots of reasons (unless it was for giant lumps of money) he'll have plenty of suiters at clubs in better positions than us. I think the best thing Dyche could do now is to take a good long break and pick his next job very carefully
  12. The more I think of it the more it tickles me πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ Sean Dyche is easily the best thing to have happened to Burnley in the 40 odd years that I've been alive, he's a very good manager in his prime and he loves the Club! He's most clubs dream manager. Had he been given time and funds for a bit of a squad rebuild over the next couple of seasons he'd have them firmly fixed in the prem again. To replace him with the ultimate mercanary, dinosaur, Allardyce is the cherry on the cake πŸŽ‚
  13. They'd have destroyed the championship (and us!!) next season if Dyche was still there. At least now we have a chance of possibly turning the tables back on them if their owners continue to make farcical decisions.
  14. Haha as much as I respect him as a manager there's no chance I'd want him here. (and even less chance he'd even consider it anyway) Allardyce is history, I always saw Dyche as a more modern Allardyce mkII.
  15. Admittedly i don't follow burnley (or the prem) that closely but it does seem a ridiculous time to sack him whilst theyve still got a vhance of surving the drop, unless he's lost the dressing room (which doesn't seem likely) or been eyeing up a move to a bigger club himself. They've been punching above their weight for years, selling their best players and replacing them with cheaper inferior ones (remind you of anyone) so it was going to catch up to them at some point! Any new manager will have the same struggles there and will never get the same respect that the fans have for Dyche.
  16. The only people really making any money from being at our club are the players and their slimy representatives. Same parasites that are going to be laughing all the way to barclays when the likes of Lenihan and Nyambe start negotiating with other clubs
  17. But how many of our Accedmy players have actual been sold for real money? Only Raya that i can think of in recent years
  18. There's still the bones of a very good team there should a quality management team come in and there be reasonable funds available for them to build on what's there. But if Mowbray stays or is just replaced by another useless (never really)has been, then it won't be long until the remaining decent players we have left are replaced with a squad full of Hedges, Brown types!
  19. Never have never will and not bought the physical paper probably since the late 90s or early 00s For me its biggest draw back in the day was it's 'late afternoon edition' which was often the first place youd get news or confirmation about transfers at the club. But that quickly became irrelevant once the Internet took off...
  20. LET columns in general attract nothing but weirdos no matter what the story is about I recently got banned for simply daring critise/question LET darlings The Issa brothers πŸ˜„ and how they apparently have the council in their back pocket and get away with building all manner of grotesque buildings wherever they please even if they dont even remotely match the approved planning permissions (but thats for a different threadπŸ˜…)
  21. I don't even see the 'nice enough bloke' aspect, just an arrogant miserable bs merchant to me.
  22. That is funny πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ But tbf I actually have a lot of sympathy for Gallagher, he's just another player that's been badly managed and used over the last few years by Tony! but he had a lot of potential when we signed him, also his price tag was higher than it should have been, but again that's not his fault, just another shoddy deal.
  23. How can the owners/employers of any multi million pound business just ignore stats like these 🀯 unless championship mediocrity is the aim. Personally I do think that is very much the aim! As the real cretins pulling the strings behind the scenes can get away with a lot more down here in the shadows outside of the Premier league spotlight.
  24. Have any of the managers we've had under Venkys actually left another club to join us πŸ€” I can only really think of Appleton (who had only been at a struggling blackpool for a few months at the time I think!) I cant see any manager that's currently 'happy where they are' or 'has other reasonable options' wanting to come here unless they where πŸ’― gurenteed a decent tranfer kitty and no interface in footbaling matters from above.
