  1. I think a lot of out of managers(and "their people") are just using us to help push through the jobs they really want at other clubs and negotiate better deals for themselves. Their loss, fck em! And the same goes for any player that wants away.
  2. Would have no interest at all in ever even visiting Australia! It has nothing to offer! It just looks like a big dull retirement community to me. Completely irrelevant country I'd genuinely have a go at living in any country on the European continent before even considering Australia!
  3. I think it's the best time to be getting rid of dead wood and any player that isn't fully committed to the club. New dof New head coach very soon🤞 Hopefully also a couple of new additions to the coaching staff Fresh start and nfresh ideas all around.
  4. Feck me sideways, I think a lot of people are having a hang over from lapping up all of yesterdays positivity. He's just another average player thats left for more money(a higher salary) than he's worth, he's replaceable. Rovers move on....
  5. Ffp 🥱🥱🥱youyou dont know if it would put us in the red.
  6. Nobody's ever doubted his attitude, but his ability has always been critised, he's never looked comfy as a centreback to me
  7. If the owners are now serious about pushing on as a club then they should make a statement by putting in a sizeable cash(plus the usual future incentives) offer for Van Hecke. He genuinely seemed to enjoy playing for us and had a great affinity with the fans from the off, he would be a great signing to build or defense round for years to come
  8. Well if Lenihan signs for Boro than then it shows he knows his level at least. Weak average at best player at a flakey club.
  9. Goes without saying that Broughton needs to be a big part of choosing our next manager, if they don't become besties then all we will end up with is one more toxic power struggle at the club. So get it right 🙏🙏
  10. Just spotted that one of Broughtons earliest roles in professional football was working at Wycombe.... Very long shot but wonder if he still has ties to the club and whether ainsworth is on his radar. Unlikely , but you never know.
  11. Sounds abit of a posh lad and defintely a face for radio (sorry couldn't resist😗) but saying all the right things, hopefully his bubble won't burst within a few months as it has on the odd occasions in the past that we've made seemingly very good appointments at the club.
  12. Joking of course 😅 Just that i remember paul just days ago being very disparaging at the thought of anybody other than Ferguson getting the job
  13. I can see Ash Philips coming into the fold this season judging by Broughtons comments about bringing youth into the first team as early as possible Thats assuming this kid is the boy wonder that he's been made out to be and that he's not poached by a bigger club (to rot in their reserves for years)
  14. Ambitious appointment, fair play to the board and owners for pulling it off, hopefully he will be supported by the owners 💰 💰 and a head coach matching his pedigree is apointed
  15. That would be a refreshing suprise if true! He seems the real deal! Lets see...
  16. Wouldn't normally be impressed by a manager winning the spl as manager of celtic, especially at a time when rangers weren't in the running. But to take on that pressure and do it at just 38 years old is pretty impressive and shows a lot of bottle
  17. Deila intrigues me, think he's one that could either be an absolute masterstroke or absolutely abysmal!! Where as most the other main names getting linked(warne, ainsworth, Ferguson) would likely just be pretty average at best
  18. Ahhh thanks! Of course. I'd completely forgot about Givet! Strange bugger he was haha but he was so cool looking ha
  19. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/death-threats-bradley-orrs-blackburn-24162439 Forgets to mention what a vastly overpaid useless loada crap he was even when fully fit. Cant argue with a lot of what he says though but as Silas says above all he's doing is showing largely why we wanted kean out! All personal feelings agains Kean aside and forgetting about the machiavellian way he wrangled himself into the job...bottom line was he was and forever will be god awful manager that waaaaay overstayed his welcome. I am tyring to figure out which so called 'fan favorite warrior' cb it was that he claims refused to play at left back for a game!? My first thought was maybe salgado, but you wouldn't call him a cb! Other than that i cant think of any defenders at that time that you'd call a fan favorite! Possibly Hanley to an extent, but he was still very young then so can't imagine hed have had the power to just refuse to play. As for midfielders not pulling their weight in the effort department! That could literally be all of them, there was only Lowe that put in the miles but sadly that's all he did because he was terrible in every other aspect of the game.
  20. At this stage it seems you'll literally talk yourself into accepting anybody 😞 (see the shouty part of my last post)
