  1. Just waking up in Waco, reading the above comments, & wondering about the future of the club… A win today would not cure everything, but it would help us all to feel a little better. Of most immediate help, imo, would be McFadzean & Kouemetio. Fleck is available. Having JR-C, Gally & Dolan doesn’t offset our losses, but it does make me feel a bit better offensively. Yes, it’s a must-win. COYB!
  2. I’m about 75% positive about the guys we picked up in the window. McFadzean, Fleck, & Koumetio I feel will help the club immediately. McGuire, maybe, I don’t know. But, let’s see them in action before rushing to judgment.
  3. Agreed, if it’s not “must win” time, I don’t know when it will be. Two points from the last 21? With that in mind, I’d nearly welcome a tie, but one point will not help us. We need 3’s to distance ourselves from catfish clubs below us. Rankin-Costello, Gally & Dolan are all welcome back, but Carter, Brittain & Pickering are disastrous losses. with these things in mind, I will say, 3-2. prayer & practice
  4. I missed the game due to work, but I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. My son (Liverpool fan that he is), did a great job of giving me updates. he was very impressed with our man, Sammie. I'm about to watch the replay on ESPN+, looking forward to this!
  5. Ha ha i always expected him in goal when tone was making up lineups 😆
  6. Maidstone scored the huge 4th round upset. Score one for National League South. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a League 2 outfit put up big numbers in the 1st half today, but Rovers journey doesn’t end, 4-2, COYB!!!
  7. Glass half-full: We’ve gone 37 min without the opposition scoring 😆
  8. Knew the good feeling wouldn’t last, with our poor defending
  9. This lineup (sigh)… I guess it’s the best Tomasson can do, considering what he’s got available to him. But it won’t scare anybody. 1-2.
  10. According to Rovers site, Sammie & Pickering are both available.
  11. I don’t know if it would do any good… no owners present to see any kind of demonstration. Everybody get up & leave at the same time, or season tickets holders gather outside of Ewood, & not go in, etc, if you knew owners would find out. It’s a bad situation, no doubt. Rovers fighting relegation, only thing making it bearable is the dross at the bottom of the Championship (any of the three could give our lads a licking), I don’t pick against us at home. Until now… 1-2. Sad
  12. Trying to maintain a little bit of optimism: Rovers are 10 pts above drop zone. And, we are getting guys back. Those three clubs in the bottom are pure rubbish. We will be safe, but the conversation wasn't supposed to be, "can we secure safety", but, "can we make playoffs"
  13. Garrett!!! Get in lad Gally, ol boy, I’m glad to see ye!
  14. I'd have to give our returnees a runout. This is dismal, depressing stuff.
  15. it’s over. 2-0. No comeback today. A friend of mine, transplanted from Blackburn to California, says this: Ah well, I am just happy to get up, make a pot of tea, get some biscuits and settle down to watch my team of 65 years!! Up The Rovers!!!! we can all relate 😊
  16. “Look at the gaping hole in the Rovers back line…” it happens all too often
  17. I am excited to get this on ESPN+, 2nd game this month (also vs Cambridge)
  18. Chrisene, Ayari, & our three returnees, it’s more encouraging about the future than today.
  19. The possibility of Gally, JR-C, & Pears returning- at least to the bench- has brought some positivity. Here’s hoping Rovers are getting some meaningful contributions soon! 1-1.
