Ha ha, fair enough! Even though my son graduated from Reading, he’s a Liverpool fan, through & through. he tolerates his old Blackburn Rovers dad, he knows we’re likely not to be any competition to his reds anytime soon. At least we can share our mutual love/admiration of King Kenny Dalglish, Harvey Elliott, et al.

College games aren’t artificial…marching bands, cheers, students, etc. As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I detest what jones has done to Cowboys gameday- it’s pretty much as you said, loud blaring music over speakers, etc. Cowboys stadium definitely lacks “atmosphere”. But, when the fans get loud, 90,000+, I don’t think anything in old Trafford or Anfield can top it.

Yeah, we’re going to have to disagree on this. Rabid & disagreeable fans are everywhere, & everybody think their opponents fans are worse than their own. I wore my Rovers shirt all over London & Liverpool, nobody got aggressive with me. People behave differently inside old Trafford or Anfield on a Saturday than they do any other day of the week/ in fact, I’d hazard to guess many Rovers fans in this forum are close friends with those of burnley, Preston, ManC, Bolton, Liverpool, etc.

Bah, you ever been to a Texas/OU game? The Cotton Bowl is half Longhorns, half Sooners, with fans of each sprinkled in everywhere. Or Dallas Cowboys/Washington Redskins?! y’all don’t have a lock on “atmosphere”. As much as I love my adopted sport of English footie, it’s not the ultimate in passionate crowds. Every NFL stadium here, is bigger than every English ground, with the exception of maybe Wembley. In fact, we have a good dozen or so college stadiums larger than EVERY ground in the UK- Texas, Michigan, A&M, Tennessee, Ohio St., Alabama, the Coliseum in Los Angeles., etc. College stadiums are much louder than NFL stadiums, too.

Not enough, but we’ve got some good chances to get some wins in March. I admit I was content to see a point today. -

In March, I count 4 games we can expect points from. Imho, 3 of those need to be wins to insure safety. -

It’s not a great result, but 1-1 is so much better than 1-4. Versus a fairly good side, as well. -

Hyam, unlikely scorer, but we’ll take it wherever we get it well done, lads! -

I’m searching the bench to try to find someone, anyone, that can give us quality on the pitch that we don’t have. I cannot find anybody. -

This game isn’t on ESPN+ here in the U.S., either. Rovers haven’t been on the plus since Wrexham cup match. 😕 -

When players started coming back from injury, & Eustace came on, we had a reasonable expectation of some wins. Tomorrow’s game unfortunately doesn’t shape up to be one of those. I’d take a point tomorrow, and an exciting game. I can’t see a clean sheet either way, 2-2. -

Oh, & a clean sheet. I’m thankful for that. Never thought I’d see us get another 😆 -

A point. In wales. Therefore, I will not gripe about today’s result, but we need points in 3’s.
