  1. You can make excuses like that for a one off game but the bloke has 1 win in 13 games. To coach the top players you need to show yourself to be a top coach at this point Eustace doesn't even look like an also ran.
  2. Eustace against relegation rivals has drawn at home to Plymouth, drawn at home to Millwall, lost at Swansea & lost at Birmingham. Win just one of those 4 games and we are all but safe.
  3. You'd never think reading this that the man who replaced him has 1 win in 13 games and has us closer to relegation now than when he took over. If we do stay up it will be because of how JDT overachieved with this spineless, self entitled squad in the first 4 months of the season.
  4. I think we are seeing now that the man worked wonders in the first 4 months of this season. And if we stay up (which I think we just about will) then it will be thanks to the miracles that he worked.
  5. A good point and we have moved up the table. Yet strangely I am less optimistic about survival than I was this time last week.
  6. I think one more win should do it. I can't see two of Plymouth, Wednesday and Huddersfield getting to 48 points. And with the later two's goal differences they would probably need 49 points to overtake us
  7. Edwards and Millwall and now Foster at Plymouth. Coaching kids is no preparation for managing in the Championship.
  8. Having watched Southampton last night one thing we need to do is shoot. Their keeper moves like he has cement in his boots, he should have saved all 3 Ipswich goals.
  9. The McFadzean red card was probably the best thing that happened to him. It meant abandoning the 5 at the back which going all the way back to when Mowbray tried it just does not suit us .
  10. It's not working we are closer to relegation now than when he came in.
  11. He's made us look more like the Kidderminster of the Championship
  12. He's another Appleton. An inexperienced manager who is manging the biggest club that he will manage in his career and is miles out of his depth in the situation that he finds himself in. At least when Appleton was here the owners retained a modicum of interest and got rid before it was too late, I think we are going to be stuck with Eustace come what may.
  13. And we have continued falling under Eustace. We are closer to relegation now than when he took over.
  14. Stabilised us? The bloke has had 10 games and not mustered a single victory. We are now closer in terms of points and position to the relegation zone than we were when he took over. That's not what I call stabilising.
  15. What is the longest a Rovers manager has gone before recording his first win?
  16. All correctly disallowed. And the first 2 were chakled of by the linesman not the ref.
  17. In terms of attitude and ability I would place Callum Brittain on the same level as Bradley Orr.
  18. I'd rather he looked himself in the mirror instead of blaming someone else for his own failures. Wharton's attitude is typical of the modern footballer.
  19. If that is Wharton's attitude then perhaps he should look at himself, rather than blaming someone who achieved far more in his career than Wharton would if he played for 50 years. Let's not forget last season that manager took us to our highest league position since 2012. Also Wharton hardly banged the door down to get a start last season he was more a hindrance than a help whenever he did play. It's clear that JDT was a shock to the players this wasn't a bloke who spent most of his career in the 2nd division with Middlesbrough. This is a man who has played at the highest level of international and club football, who played for one of the greatest managers of all time at one of the world's biggest clubs. He had very high standards and it seems like that was too much for a number of our feeble minded squad. Also it's all very well blaming the manager for the squad's short comings but they still haven't won a match under the new manager. Some them would be better of looking in the mirror if they want someone to blame. I've seen some poor teams during my time following Rovers but this is one of the softest, most entitled and most unlikeable that I have seen.
