That was just Sporting's second league titles since 2002, it was PSV's first title in 6 years and Inter's second scudetto since 2010.
-
Our players did get us into the situation though where after 45 games they had to win their last game of the season to stay up. If only they had stood up before then.

I know my eyesight isn't what it was but how have Oxford not been given a penalty there for a foul by the keeper. Looked clearly inside the area to me.

Was Broughton good at his job? I'd say no. Was Gregg Broughton the biggest problem at the club? 100% not Will the club operate any better now Broughton is gone? Not a chance Was the Statement released today regardless of what you think of the job he did totally classless? Yes Does that statement sum up Blackburn Rovers today? Absolutely

I'd go with Keepers: Pickford, Henderson, Butland Defenders: Walker, White, Stones, Branthwaite, Maguire, Tomori, Mitchell, Shaw, Trippier Midfielders: Rice, Gallagher, Mainoo, Alexander-Arnold, Lewis, Bellingham Forwards: Foden, Palmer, Bowen, Saka, Grealish, Kane, Watkins, Solanke -
Whether you like it or not the law is the law and The Rangers Football Club PLC was liquidated and is no more. As for Ibrox remember what the Court of Session said about that a few years back. Also let's not forget not only did the old Rangers cheat the tax man they also cheated their way to titles as well.

Precisely. Ever single Rovers player is here for the money and if they got an offered of an increased salary from another club they would be gone as soon as they possibly could. -
Firstly as a company the club would be liquidated not declared bankrupt, secondly it is a just fact that it would legally be a different club and just on Rangers they were liquidated because they owed tens of millions to HMRC. A hypothetical question and my answer would be dependent on various factors. But it would not be the same Blackburn Rovers that was founded in 1875 and has such a great history.

It is the same in England. I live in the South West and the majority of football shirts you see are Man Utd and Liverpool. It is the same every country in fact, the most successful clubs attract the most supporters. Also Scottish football has the highest attendances per capita in Europe. Kenny Deuchar.

Only two things can stop England from winning it they are France and Gareth Southgate. -
Who was the first British club to win the European Cup? You talk of Liverpool where did they get their greatest ever player (King Kenny) from?

Eustace is just doing the bidding of his master who said that the ambition was to stay in the league and that will be the extent of the ambition from Eustace. He is just Waggott's puppet. -
We were owned by a local businessman who bought the club because he supported it. They are owned by a nation state who bought the club for soft power. Rather a big difference.
-
So for the second year in a row on Sunday we will have the preposterous event of the club currently facing 115 charges from the Premier League being congratulated and presented with the Premier League title by the Chief Executive of the very same Premier League.
-
Guardiola's whole career in football is tainted. From a failed drugs test as a player, to Barcelona paying the vice-president of the Spanish refereeing committee and now to Man City's 115 charges.
-
Amazing what being funded by a nation state can do.
-
But it is a legal fact regardless of you finding it sad or not. The club that operated under the trading name The Rangers Football Club PLC was liquidated, the new club operates under the trading name The Rangers Football Club Ltd.
-
It does rather all suggest though that Eustace is Waggott's man.
-
Huge let off for Celtic to win the league this year. They have been poor and their summer recruitment was dreadful. You'd think they will be better this summer and by virtue of winning the league they are also now guaranteed the increased Champions League money.
-
But at least we still are Blackburn Rovers
-
Has there been a worse club to support the last 13 years than Rangers. Your club has died and you now have to support a newco. Your great rivals have won 12 titles out of 13, they've also done 5 domestic trebles including 4 in a row and the only league title you won was behind closed doors.
-
He won't be leaving of his own accord. This is the biggest job he will ever have. Plus he is clearly Waggott's man.
-
If someone else is appointed to the role then we could do a lot worse than look at Gary Bowyer (if he be interested in that sort of role). I never rated him as a coach but he undoubtedly had a good eye when it came to recruiting players on a modest budget, he also knows what he will be working with in terms of the circus that is the ownership and he knows our academy well.
-
No doubt someone else with no experience and therefore nice and cheap.

So another in a long of out of their depth blaggers comes and goes.
