  1. Quite a talking point up there,7 pages of talk just today about signing him,we have 8 pages in 4 years of him being here ? i didnt realise he played so bad there in the past.Kind of like what it would be here if we had ever re-signed Kevin Davies.
  2. I agree plus with the pressure Pep must be under with the owners wanting trophies after all the money they've shelled out hes gonna have to be pretty sure a young player is ready to give him regular playing time.
  3. thats quite cheap,Newcastle paid 40 for that useless JoelLinton bloke
  4. Bellis-harwood,angelino,Diaz,Celina have/had 6 premier league appearances between them, hardly given a chance imo Foden is a regular,Garcia has played a few games recently but i'd harldy call him a regular so far and Inehacho was offloaded as soon as Leicester made a bid for him. I can understand Pep using big money players when hes got an owner willing to pay for them, all i'm saying is if Tosin wants a premier league career it wont be with City.
  5. I dont't think Tosin is going to be anywhere near the 1st team at City, other than Phil Foden Pep has hardly given a chance to their youth team players to become regulars in the 1st team, until the the owner changes his mind City will be using his oil money to get new defenders in the club.
  6. So with Villa and West Ham staying up and Leeds getting promoted who will Sky's obsession be next season? Maybe for once they'll spread the lives games around evenly instead of showing 1 team 30 times in the season....maybe not
  7. I thought it must be a Villa fan taking the p*** with the story until i clicked on the link.
  8. Reading this thread trying to work it out at 1.25 am, my head hurts now i'm going to bed.
  9. Maybe it's a +43 goal difference because hes a good keeper that stops shots going in at one end while theyre scoring at the other end, ever thought of that?
  10. Or you could put it another way and say his performances over the whole season are one of the reasons Brentford are in a position to be promoted and getting that £150 million.
  11. And if the remarkable happens and they decide to do the best thing for the club and get rid of Mowbray then you can bet Waggott will be right in there trying to change their minds.
  12. We'll have to agree to disagree, this club is his pension plan, few more years doddering around in the championship picking up millions in wages, with his mate Waggott around theres no chance of him being fired.A few more years then he'll be retiring back up the North East to count his money,do you feel inspired after hearing any of his interviews? i've never once thought he instills passion in the players, half are probably struggling to stay awake after on of his team talks.
  13. There's been a lot of good stuff written on here since the end of the game last night,a lot of passionate supporters putting their opinions across,i just wish the people running the club had half the passion we do,with Mowbray and Waggott at the helm i can only see more seasons of drab, uninspiring football ahead with no chance of promotion, just treading water as a mid table team. The fact that in a game where it was win or bust they put in a performance like that shows Mowbray has no motivation skills,i'm guessing they have stopped listening to him and his voice just goes in one ear and out of the other for most players in the team.
  14. Mowbray wont be able to resist making 3 or 4 changes and i'm thinking tonight is where the season ends. 2-0 to Millwall.
  15. Took him a couple of games to settle in but now Warnock is starting to work his magic again in the championship
  16. Brentford turned it round and now leading 2-1,i think they are going to pip West Brom to the 2nd spot.
  17. I noticed on Twitter that the Hawks have been taken over by 2 locals that have been given a 3 year licence to run the team.I am a lapsed Hawks fan,i havent been to a game for a long long time.I used to go to every home game back in the 90s and early 2000s but slowly stopped going as the quality of Hockey got worse and worse. With local people now in charge i think i might pop down to the Arena again this season whenever it restarts allowing for the inevitable social distancing that will most likely still be in effect. The lack of a Blackburn Hawks thread seems to show not many have an interest in Ice Hockey on here but i think its the best sport to watch live, totally different than watching it on tv. Anybody else on here been to a Hawks game or 2 over the years ?
  18. After the dross of last night its good to see a team with proper wingers and forwards that can score a goal.
  19. The manager signing sh*t forwards and playing players in the wrong positions will contribute more to not being promoted than a defender missing one of 38 league matches to see his child born.
  20. People complaining about a player missing 1 football match to be at the birth of a child need to get out of the 1980's and into the 21st century, times have changed. For me i'd think less of Lenihan if he put a game of football a bigger priority before being with his family at an important time in their life.
  21. Plus when a player has had a serious injury like Dack has its not just physically he has to recover from,he has to be 100% mentally recovered so he will go into 50/50 challenges and stuff testing his knee out.If i was West Brom i'd wait until Jan and watched his return rather than spending on a player not yet back into the rough and tumble of football.
  22. I dont know if i could eat something i saw walking round my local fields just weeks before,i prefer to not think of a little Lamb when i'm tucking into it ?
  23. Not enough poeple in this country know other languages, i think schools should make it mandatory to learn at least one other language.German was the only language i did at school for 2 years, the teacher was a very good looking young woman that was a bit distracting for us young teenage boys but i have managed to retain a tiny bit of German over the years since.I now wish i'd have carried on with it instead of dropping it,it would be nice to actually be able to speak and understand another language other than English.I should go back to it and see if i can pick it up again, theres plenty of language courses out there.
  24. Win or bust this one,win and we go back to thinking we have a chance to get into the top 6 and lose and the seasons over and we're back to looking at another mid table season in the Championship with an uninspiring manager and no money to spend on improvements.
  25. Never watched from the sides I was one of the idiots in the middle,i remember going to 18 Rovers games before i saw them lose,i used to think i was a lucky charm until we lost the 19th game i'd seen.
