I wouldn't be too surprised if Rovers have a sniff of the playoffs going into the last day. Top 6 won't happen but at least they have stopped the rot and turned things around to hopefully end the season positively. At the start of the campaign I think most would've accepted a top half finish after last season as being a great improvement...but the narrative of the season and the way things have panned out at the club means it's yet another 'what could've been' effort.

There is no loyalty in football. However, to be fair to Dolan, he can only sign a deal with the club if they offer him agreeable terms. Can you see Suhail and Waggott offering him a good enough deal to stay at the club? I can't. Based on some of the stuff Elliott Bennett came out with on a podcast recently in regards to his departure from the club, and then Connor Mahoney on the Blackburn End podcast talking about why he didn't stay at Rovers, then I'd hazard a guess that they are trying to be cheap about any new deal for Dolan, and the player probably knows he can get better terms elsewhere as well.

Feel for Kaminski, but he seems to have struggled this season. That being said, I wonder if he's got a relegation release clause if they drop down to League One 😅.
