  1. Like Kargbo, this fella seems like he'll be quite raw and probably not ready for first team Championship football straight away. Apparently players that have been relegated from the Belgium top division is our standard right now.
  2. That quote alone is the most Alan Nixon defining fluff that's ever existed. He's become a parody of himself.
  3. I must admit its easy to forget how late we signed players last summer...that one week were there was a new player every day was certainly interesting. I'm really hoping that the club pulls another Ohashi style signing or two out of the hat, but I won't hold my breath.
  4. The thing that makes it even more frustrating with Rovers is that they'll offer the player peanuts, player rejects and asks for more, club don't follow through, ok, we know the club are cheapskates....but then they never seem to try and cash in on the player either so that player ends up leaving for nothing. Rothwell, Brereton, Lenihan, Dolan....I'm sure I've missed one or two off the list. It's literally insane.
  5. It's alright, smart enough. Third shirt is an opportunity for a variation on the badge, so it's a shame they've not done that. Would've been nice if the two tones of green were a bit more contrasting so the halves stand out more...but that might just be the lighting in the photos.
  6. How do you know I haven't already DM'd her 😅
  7. My attempt at asking Dua Lipa out depends on her response
  8. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Derby are interested in Brittain. They won't be the only club though after he had a very good season. Having said that, this particular story is probably one of those easy ones to write as quite a few Rovers players will be linked to Derby simply because of who their head coach is, especially after Batth and Weimann went there.
  9. Agree. Don't see him ever making it in the Prem unless he can find himself a head coach that can knock some of his poor decision making on the head.
  10. 1000% this. There's no reason to boo Eustace anyway. The whole snake thing was pretty embarrassing given that he would still be Rovers manage if the club was being run sensibly....I think a lot of fans fell for the club trying to spin it so that Eustace was the villain.
  11. I agree we need someone on the right...not sure about CM though...we currently still have Travis, Tronstad, Sidnei, Buckley, JRC, Forshaw all available to play there. Granted not much quality in reserve beyond the two starters, but I think we have more pressing issues like a replacement for Batth and a striker. Obviously if some of those midfielders leave then that changes the landscape for me.
  12. You can guarantee Weimann will go back to scoring against us as he always used to. Will probably bag in the 150th anniversary game 🥲. We can debate how much impact Batth and Weimann will have at Derby with them both being another year older, but the fact is I think most of us would've welcomed keeping them on. They've clearly gone to join up with Eustace, which goes to show how well liked he was. If Dolan goes there too....well that just sums it all up. Absolutely no sign of Rovers doing anything at the moment either. Depressing and comical in equal measure.
  13. Unless Rovers have got someone great lined up (highly doubt) then this is absolutely shambolic to not have been able to retain Batth for another season.
  14. Goodo. Looking forward to who the next Rudy Gestede randomer rocks up at Brockhall. I'm surprised there haven't been any links with anyone else from the J-League, or was that John Parks work to get Yuki in last summer?
  15. So have we had any more links to players or are we now just debating Eustace and Derby again?
  16. That's a rough start and an even rougher finish. 😂 Good luck to them!
  17. Not sure if its that or his avatar that's more irritating 😂
  18. A little bit of that yeah, he definitely wasn't amazing for us...but I think he's better a better option than Forshaw, which is where I think it comes from.
  19. Shame to lose Weimann and Batth, the latter especially...but it was always extremely likely that they'd jump at the chance to work with Eustace again. Debatable how many minutes Weimann would get next season under Ismael, but losing Batth who seemed to really help Hyam is a blow.
  20. Have they flogged the fancy red and gold chair from the new home kit photoshoot material already
  21. With Forshaw returning and the supposed imminent signing of Tavares, it all points towards a couple of midfield departures. Hopefully its Buckley and Garrett / JRC....but I have a bad feeling one of them is Travis. Signing Tavares for potentially over a million quid has similar vibes to the situation with Gallagher getting sold to Stoke and then Gueye coming in as replacement for a similar fee. I'll be gobsmacked if this doesn't mean one of Trav or Tronstad isn't on the way out. Sad.
  22. You know what, I didn't realise it wasn't reversed halves when I posted, so my bad on that one...but calling someone thick for having a different opinion? Absolutely man child levels of pathetic. Get a grip and grow up.
  23. Probably more likely that they have a special one off retro shirt to be used in one game as they did for the 125th. I don't think it was ever on the cards to have a shirt like that for the entire season.
