  1. Didn't it also take Sheffield Wednesday fans a good 18 months - 2 years of protests and boycotting? Its going to be a long journey.
  2. Not sure why they even bother going, given how little they care.
  3. 1 win in 14 in all comps. Ismael HAS TO GO.
  4. That's why it is important that he coalition continue to put plans into action on a regular basis, otherwise yes, it will just fizzle out.
  5. Leicester are supposedly going to be deducted 10 points soon, which would drop them right into it.
  6. Sounds like only a matter of time before Watford score.
  7. Whether its considered a success or not, an official boycott was something worth trying. The more important thing is that after this game, it doesn't go all quiet for weeks before another plan of action.
  8. Could be this...? Toth Miller O'Riordan McLoughlin Cashin Tronstad Forshaw Jorgensen Cantwell Morishita Ohashi
  9. Preston appear to have entered a death spiral of their own as of late. Losing 3-0 at Boro after a 3-0 home defeat in midweek and a 0-1 defeat to Derby before that.
  10. I thought he often played there for Legia? Regardless, he's still better than De Neve.
  11. Ohashi at most other Championship clubs would've been signed as a bench filler and impact sub. He seemed absolutely perfect for the role of coming on and using all that energy against tired defenders - The lovely dink on his debut against Derby and the last minute equaliser against Norwich spring to mind. Unfortunately for Rovers, their recruitment has been so awful that he's ended up leading the line pretty much ever since Ismael came in, which is just not what he's built for, and he looks absolutely shattered for it too, which I imagine plays a part in why he also appears absolutely useless these days...goal away at Portsmouth aside. I love the guy for his energy, but as soon as Gudjohnsen is back Ohashi needs to spend a few weeks on the bench.
  12. If Morishita is back and able to start then I'd consider playing him at LWB, give Ismael is completely married to that system. Either that or have him in the middle with Tronstad and basically anyone but De Neve at LWB.
  13. My bad, didn't check to see if he was in a job.
  14. Is Miller back for this one? TGH at RWB is pure nightmare fuel.
  15. No chance the club bounces back straight away with how it is run these days. Recruitment will continue to be mostly miss rather than hit, Suhail and Gestede will continue to dig themselves a bigger hole, and if Ismael is still in charge then I imagine the players he's left with will have been gutted of all confidence by him. Club needs a mass overhaul, like what Ipswich got when they got new ownership and brought in McKenna.
  16. Oh yeah it went swimmingly of course 😂. Cap in hand back to Chris Wilder. just wouldn't be at all surprised is all.
  17. If Ismael does leave, a thought has just crossed my mind that the club might go for Ruben Selles. Sheffield United did after all hire him as their head coach because he supposedly aligned with their AI-led data driven approach to signing players.
  18. Plodding but relatively stable is the stuff of dreams for us now 🥲
  19. Ah, sorry I didn't realise the playoff spots where down to 7th. My bad!
  20. Oof, yeah they seem to have blown it. Played 4 more games than 2nd placed Rochdale and are 2 points behind them, 3 points behind top of the table York who also have a game in hand on them. They appear at risk of not even making the playoffs.
  21. If Ismael leaves the club this season, it will most certainly be after the window shuts, and after the 3 home games, followed by at least a month of faffing around and interviewing candidates before settling on the cheapest possible chancer going. Realistically I don't think he'll leave because he'll manage to scrape a win in the Sheffield Wednesday replay, keeping himself comfy in the job till the end of the season.
  22. Rovers 1 - 2 Watford. Jorgensen again for Rovers. Based on Ismael's comments, Alebiosu wont be starting, so I'm expecting TGH to continue out there. Grim. I would revert to a back 4 for this with either Pickering or Ribeiro coming in, with Powell on the left flank, Jorgensen on the right and Baradji in the CAM position to support Ohashi. Tronstad and Forshaw as a pairing in the middle.
