  1. That sounds very Venkys 😞 Managerial career 2011–2012 Muangthong United 2019–2020 Brisbane Roar 2020–2021 East Bengal 2023 Al-Qadsiah
  2. Either that or they are currently waiting on a late truckload of NDAs
  3. That explains why they don't want to do it again 😉
  4. Nope https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Kean#:~:text=Kean left his position as,position had been "untenable". 3rd 😉
  5. One of the main criticisms of Neil by fans of clubs he has managed, has been an aversion to using or developing younger players, and Rovers have a squad full of them. Eustace was in 2nd place in the Championship when sacked Edit - Birmingham were 6th when Eustace was sacked
  6. Can we have a dislike button? Not to say Eustace is a brilliant appointment, but Neil would be awful 😉
  7. I did say it might be too much of a luxury, lol And just for clarity, my post was more to try and pigeonhole Siggys best role rather than to say how Rovers should use him
  8. He is probably best used in a similar way to how Bayern used to use Thomas Muller when he was younger, a free role coming inside from wide to find space. Which may be too much of a luxury for Rovers at the moment, but would help get the best out of Siggy, whose best moments have come when he has floated into space in the box late and got us a few goals
  9. Exclusive photo of JDTs escape attempt from Ewood
  10. You are optimistic that Venkys will work faster than usual then?
  11. JDT got to bring in hiss own assistant and fitness coach (who you would imagine will leave with JDT), so you would imagine whoever the new man is will have the same leeway Some managers have a huge entourage though, including additional physios, data analysts etc (I imagine most who are happy to be a head coach don't have quite the same amount of guys to bring along with them)
  12. https://www.bristolworld.com/sport/football/john-eustace-bristol-city-birmingham-city-nigel-pearson-4390690 Story about it there, info provided by the Birmingham version of Jackson And another here https://theathletic.com/3708514/2022/10/20/birmingham-city-john-eustace/
  13. More likely that Jackson doesn't know which, so is putting both options and hedging his bets
  14. Really? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_McCall Was a decent player. Not much of a manager though
  15. Fixed it for you
  16. Personally can see us appointing someone until the end of the season, and then going back to the list/plan in the summer
  17. https://www.linkedin.com/in/ian-silvester-1016543a/?originalSubdomain=uk
  18. Sounds like a case of employing 2 people for 1 role, and at least one of them is doing nothing whilst the other is messing things up
  19. According to this, he is https://www.rovers.co.uk/club/staff/ Mike Cheston - Finance Director Ashfaq Hasan - Head of Finance * Not sure it is up to date
  20. Played the first half, set up the 2nd goal Match Report - https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/february/06/report--sheffield-united-under-21s-2-3-rovers-under-21s/
