  1. Best post you have ever made Fully agree
  2. He should be, he cost Roma £20M last summer
  3. We have signed a video analyst scout https://www.linkedin.com/in/asher-hines-98371a1b0/?originalSubdomain=uk I think that is the technical term for someone who looks at YouTube highlight reels 😉
  4. If we unregister another one, yes
  5. I think I would prefer a shanking than Cauley bloody Woodrow
  6. and pay for them all by selling Travis and Tronstad
  7. If fit, not a bad signing, but he apparently hasn't played a minute (not even for the U21s) this season https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emmanuel-dennis/leistungsdaten/spieler/448854
  8. Leeds & Bristol City have apparently not signed anyone. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/transfers/wettbewerb/GB2/plus/?saison_id=2024&s_w=w&leihe=1&intern=0&intern=1
  9. I think we are, he is injured anyway https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24906390.blackburn-rovers-team-news-qpr-trip---kargbo-leonard/
  10. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24907088.blackburn-rovers-sign-ribeiro-explore-luton-striker-deal/ Meanwhile, we understand that Rovers have explored a deal for Luton Town forward Cauley Woodrow. The Hatters are open to a potential deal, although it remains to be seen how close an agreement is ahead of tonight’s deadline at 11pm. Woodrow was left out of the squad against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend amid speculation over his future. “Cauley’s had lots of transfer interest this week," said manager Matt Bloomfield. "We've bought Thelo (Aasgaard) in who was going to start in that number 10 option which Cauley can play, and again it just felt the right thing with what’s been going on. “I think Cauley is an absolute diamond by the way. He’s a proper Luton guy. “He doesn't want to leave, but he's had some interest this week, so we just felt it was the right thing for him not to be involved today. But if nothing goes through he's part of our group and we’re really happy to have him.” Woodrow started out at Luton before heading to Fulham, where he made his senior debut and had loan spells at Southend, Burton, Bristol City and Barnsley. He joined the latter on a permanent basis in 2019 and spent the next three years at Oakwell, ending up with a record of 53 goals in 157 games for the club. The forward returned to Luton in the summer of 2022 but has only made 15 starts, scoring six goals. The Hatters have also confirmed the signing of Norwegian striker Lasse Nordas from Tromso this evening.
  11. He is a better bet than permocrock Bamford
  12. I think its like crows, "a murder of cunts"
  13. He was left out of the Luton squad amid transfer interest https://www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/football/luton-town/luton-chief-explains-woodrows-absence-at-hillsborough-was-down-to-transfer-interest-4970963 Its going to be him isn't it 😞
  14. Mafoumbi has gone on loan to the Belgian 2nd tier
  15. If you have a wealthy owner (one who cares about the club) and make an annual big sale, then you can skirt FFP/Profit & Sustainability despite spending more than you receive because of how transfer fees are counted on the balance sheet in the accounts. Incoming fees counted all at once, outgoing fees split over the length of the contract. Agree that Carrick is overrated
  16. Reminds me of Bournemouth's signings when they went up, whilst Rovers signed Zeefuik
  17. Would genuinely prefer nobody, rather than Bamford
  18. If I was optimistic, I would highlight that this means we now have open slots in the 25 man squad for 2 new signings
  19. After the past 3 Januarys, I went into this window with no hope, and I am still disappointed, albeit not quite as much as usual
  20. Great player in his day but he turns 35 this week and has scored 0 goals in over 20 games this season in League 1 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jordan-rhodes/profil/spieler/48950
  21. Motherwell signed 3 strikers last week, we might end up getting Vale back He will be like a new signing lol
  22. Starts today for - On the bench Saadi - lost 1-0 - Came off the bench for the last 30 mins - Saadi was missing from their squad for the past 2 weeks (maybe injured?) Not involved in matchday squad Vale - lost 3-1 - Vale completes a 2 match ban - Motherwell signed 2 strikers on loan on Saturday (Plange from Palace & Dickson from Man City), as well as signing Luke Armstrong last week, Stuart Kettlewell (who seemed to particularly like Vale) quit as manager recently also. All of which may impact Jack Vales' playing time going forwards
  23. Mundle and Watson who play wide left for them are both injured There would also be the option of them rotating rather than running the same 11 players into the ground They signed Le Fee, despite already having a midfield of Bellingham, Rigg, Neil, Browne & Samed, so the thought of them wanting an extra striker hardly seems ludicrous to me
