Rovers have a number of players out of contract or returning to their parent club. As a result, there will be a churn in the squad this summer. Not sure we sign Sanderson unless we lose at least 2 of our current senior centre backs. (which is possible) Gestede already on record (I know) as saying we want a left footed centre back to compete/cover for Wharton, which would leave us with 5 (Batth, Carter & Hyam being the others). And that is before we even factor in the return to the academy kids model and fitting in Atcheson & Litherland I could certainly see a world where we sell Carter & Hyam to pay the bills & Birmingham give Sanderson a free/low fee move to get him off the wage bill
