  1. I wasn't referring to the people on here. I was referring to this wider audience that KHod wants to reach out to - and what they might think.
  2. I think if you really want to go to a wider audience you are going to need to be a lot more specific about things that you think are not right about the club if you want to be taken seriously. At the moment it's so vague that people are just going to look at the recent run of disappointing results and think "just another entitled supporter who can't deal with defeat".
  3. I've been a Rovers fan for over 60 years so require no lectures from you as to what they say or feel. For your benefit, and others above, I think the club has been run very poorly by the owners. My reply was to a very vague posting about bringing our "plight" to "wider attention", apparently through disruption to matches, which I pointed out has in the past led to points deductions and criminal prosecutions . What plight and whose attention was not explained. Given that in the next few months the government are bringing in legislation for some form of regulation of football under the aegis of an Independent Regulator those arguing for "action" would be best advised to work out what grievances they might want to take to the Regulator.
  4. "Constant disruption" leads to points deductions for the club and criminal prosecutions for those involved. Your suggestion would not help anybody.
  5. A goal involvement every 254 minutes for the the marauding midget is better than that of Todd Cantwell who has 2 assists in 530 minutes.
  6. Comments like that can have a nasty habit of coming back and biting you. Moran has a record for Stoke of 2 goals and 1 assist from 763 minutes.
  7. You are concentrating on FFP but isn't it the case that a new test is being introduced restricting wages to a percentage of turnover ? I thought I'd read there was an EFL meeting in February to hammer out the details.
  8. The fact the debt is still on our balance sheet suggests the owners still harbour hopes of repayment.
  9. That doesn't answer my question. Majority fan ownership starting now would begin from a position of the club having annual operating losses running in to several millions - as is the case for almost all Championship clubs without parachute payments - plus facing the regular demands to "show some ambition" by embarking on a transfer spree with no guarantee that it would lead to promotion. Where does the money come from ?
  10. Yes - he's currently some way short of last season's form which is why he's not been in the England squad.
  11. How would majority fan ownership work for a club like ours which is dependent on funding from the owners to the tune of millions of pounds a year ?
  12. There are no "Southgate apologists" for the simple reason that his record as England manager was so superior to his predecessors in the previous 50 years that there was nothing to apologise for.
  13. I didn't see the game but it sounds as if those who wondered why Southgate relied on two holding midfielders have now found out why. The talk of Carsley being axed because of this one bad result in his third game is nonsense. He tried to experiment and it didn't come off - it happens with experiments.
  14. Yet again. 2 from 6 this season and with 4 from the final 6 of last season that's 6 from his last 12 league games. Not many keepers will be matching that.
  15. Certainly the police should be going after the individual who threw the object on to the pitch.
  16. I think O'Brien really should not have suffered from this "ordeal"; if he did he's too weak to make it to the top as a sportsman. Bobby Charlton really did go through an ordeal in the Munich air disaster and came back to establish himself as one of the all time great players.
  17. Our great start continues. After concerns about what would happen after last season you have to say huge credit is due to the manager and the recruitment team.
  18. Actually Ramsey had achieved club success - but your point about the difference between club football and international management is a fair one.
  19. You've failed to point out that Carsley managed England to win the European Under 21 Championship - a strong point in his favour.
  20. The Nations League hasn't created new fixtures; it's replaced meaningless friendlies.
  21. But you can enforce a contractual commitment by them to pay up the part of their contract they haven't worked.
  22. The employee will still have to serve a period of notice. In the case of football contracts they will usually be for 3 or 4 years so one year in to a contract the employee will still have to serve the remainder of their contract period.
  23. How are you going to do that if you're boycotting ?
