It's worth pointing out that had they still been at the club Adam Wharton and Ashley Phillips would both have been eligible to play for the U21s this season. Along with those two we also have Michalski, Tygon and Higgins playing for England in various age groups, plus also Finneran who has moved away- so overall the level of talent below 21 that has come through I would think to be probably better than any other club not in the Premier League.

Why does it matter how it looks ? What matters is the result. -
What did Henry Winter have to say about us this morning ?

Great work by Gestede to see what others did not that Gueye would be as effective as he is proving. -

A very good night which will have proven a lot of people wrong. Where's Henry Winter now ? Particularly good to see two unfairly criticised players in Gueye and Pears be our two best players. -

You will probably know more than me on this subject but doesn't the forthcoming new Act require (1) the club meet on a regular basis with a representative group of supporters and (2) "explain" ( but not necessarily gain fan approval) of the club's organisation and strategy ? -

Yes - practically identical returns and from memory Bowyer and Lambert had very similar numbers too. -

Simply not true. Off the top of my head , a couple of years ago we had an FA Cup win at Leicester, a League Cup win at West Ham, not to mention an FA Cup win at Arsenal under Gary Bowyer. -

Wasn't there a report that he was asked to play a U21 game and refused ? If so the player is the issue. -

The £40m is clearly being used to cover operating costs rather than being reinvested. Is the supposed interest in Armstrong a loan deal or a purchase ? -

According to some websites his current wages are £60,000 a week. Do you really think we are going to match that ? -

It's not the club's fault if he can't be loaned out because he's injured. -

He was playing at a very low level of non league football - albeit scoring a lot of goals. He's got an unusual background - first came to this country aged 16 to represent the Ivory Coast in the Homeless World Cup, stating that he was homeless after being kicked out by his mother after coming out as gay. Subsequently he has fathered a child. -

Our decisions in recent years regarding managerial appointments have clearly been better than Hull's. That doesn't leave me rattled in the slightest - but thanks for your concern for my welfare. -

Asset stripping is where those responsible enrich themselves. Selling players to make sure the bills are paid is not the same thing. -

It's pre-planning. Get the concerned supporters ready to roll for when the fans group is put in place. -

The mechanics are yet to be disclosed so I would need to be a clairvoyant to have an idea what they are. Anarchy has not worked at Reading so why anybody would think it would work here puzzles me especially when a due process is being put in place.
