  1. But he doesn't seem to be showing this improvement . The website whoscored.com gives Walton a rating of 6.69 whereas Raya is down on 6.59.
  2. Yes, the weather forecast here down south is for very blustery conditions at the weekend. Those older posters who remember the huge space of The Valley before its redevelopment will be grateful that the stadium is now enclosed.
  3. If it is true, whatever view one might have regarding an individual player I can't see any defence for a player refusing to play. I suspect he isn't refusing to be paid his wages. What would Alex Ferguson have said to a player who refused to play ?
  4. And yet despite it all we are heading for our highest finish for 5 years.
  5. Still an oversimpification.
  6. Maybe it's because it's a massive over-simplification to say that Mowbray has created our FFP problem.
  7. I don't think our manager has told our players that either.
  8. I'm flattered that you seem to have an obsession as to what I think. I've never pretended that we are a League One club - even those with the most sketchy knowledge of the club's history would know that not to be true.It took 5 years for Wolves to get back in to the Premier League. The other clubs are the exceptions.
  9. Worth bearing in mind that Brentford are in their sixth season since promotion to the Championship. How many people on here would be that patient so as to wait until 2024 ?
  10. He's no manager's type of player if he throws a tantrum because he's not picked.
  11. Come on, Pulis couldn't wait to get rid.
  12. Chapman has achieved nothing in the game - maybe the fault lies with him ?
  13. No it wouldn't be fair because an aim is not the same as an expectation.
  14. A very interesting post for which many thanks. Waggott does emerge well from this - comes over as a decent man trying to do what's best for the club in sometimes difficult circumstances, something for those shouting for his removal to reflect on.
  15. Yes - very interesting. Perhaps it shows how little supporters know.
  16. In the words of Barack Obama "Every crisis is an opportunity".
  17. No - but then I'm not criticising the club's representatives.
  18. Congrats on being there. I suspect those who will be most vocal in criticism won't have been there for some reason.
  19. It's amazing you were not there, isn't it ?
  20. As the article points out FFP is there because clubs have voted for it to be there.
  21. Mahomes showed himself to be one of the great ones the way he turned that around in the last 10 minutes. Pleased for Andy Reid. A reminder that even at the very top of any sport the basics have to be adhered to; the way that SF safety gave away a pass interference call late on by turning his back on the ball was a howler.
  22. Those who want Mowbray fired might care to reflect that this might well mean Ribeiro would be in pole position to replace him. Think on.
  23. Yup - that is fair enough but I have seen people on here saying of John Buckley "not a footballer " which is just not on.
