  1. No shot on target in the last 2 games. (Excluding extra time against Hull)
  2. They've just said the Ohashi push is a definite free kick if he was on side.. Failing to note he was on the penalty spot
  3. Thing is our team under JDT/Eustace would be 3 up against this outfit. Amazing how far we have regressed in such short time. Ipswich have been poor.
  4. Ask him for a link and you can see them.
  5. @KidderStreetNoise Has them.
  6. Have to ask yourself this, Say in 15 years time some of the clubs in the premier league face what we have. Would the likes of Brighton/Bournemouth and Palace fans be saying oh it was just a golden era we are back where we belong as they try and avoid a 2nd spell in the 3rd tier in 10 years or would they be saying, We had a club that was built from the ground up - we should be aiming to be in the top flight etc. etc. We have an extremely bizarre fanbase who are so split when they should be united for a single cause.
  7. Hopefully not Khan either. Utter dross.
  8. Realistically - Given he's a championship starter and rotational for Hungary I'd estimate between 3 and 4.5 plus a 10-20% sell on.
  9. He was on their radar but nothing happened. I imagine he will be back on their radar if he continues as he is. Although being 28 he has time.
  10. I've a feeling he will be at a big German club before long. Perhaps a Raya style transfer Rovers > bottom 8 prem team > top 4 foreign team.
  11. I'm not going to get into it - but: Gueye was unfairly treated for the last 9 months of his time here. he played 187 minutes this season and people are saying he hasn't scored enough goals. Ohashi has played 1993 minutes and scored 6 goals meaning he scores 1 every 332 minutes. Andri Gudjohnsen has played 1227 minutes scoring 7 goals putting him at 1 every 205 minutes. easy to point fingers but in theory and with this data driven approach all of our strike force are garbage.
  12. Like I've said in the past. The local community needs the money - stay away from the game, go to the cafe's the local park the butty shops etc. spend what you would on a ticket or inside the ground on the local area. It's one game that will almost certainly dross whether the fans are there or not. So for one game stay away and do something different. I understand it's routine and for some a way to switch off for 90mins or so, but just do do something within the local community. Surely that's a better story - 'Boycotting rovers fans spend x amount on local cafe's/businesses in Venkys protest.'
  13. I'm sure at one stage he was the most expensive goalkeeper in the premier league when he moved to Sunderland I think it was around £9M at the time.
  14. We have to buy him first - all well and good him doing great etc but will he sign the contract for a crap relegation threatened team?
  15. Yeah this is ideal world with what we could have.
  16. Toth Alebiosu Cashin Mcloughlin Pickering Tronstad Hedges Cantwell Morishita Gueye Gudjohnsen
  17. They have a point in the fact that Anorim refused to adapt his 3-5-2 system which was his downfall, the players he had didn't fit the system. a 3-5-2 requires seriously talented centre backs and wing backs (hence why it doesn't work here either). we should really be playing a 4-1-3-2 with Gueye knocking it down to Ohashi/Gudjohnsen.
  18. Winning headers and making defenders think, a 6'4 defender playing against a 5'10 striker is a walk in the park. If we played a bit of route one or more crosses with a Gueye type figure in and around the box, the defenders would have to think more. In his early days he put himself about and was a physical presence as time grew on and his confidence lowered this impacted his style of play as well as him coming on for the last 8 minutes being told to press the centre backs. This is why we never saw the best of him.
  19. He's useless in the press because that's not his strong point. Would you ask peter Crouch to press? or Ryan Nelsen to be a ball playing centre back? you'd play to their strengths. Not every striker needs to press, and just because you can press doesn't mean you're any good!
  20. Every good striker needs confidence and consistent game time - of which he has neither.
  21. He was excellent especially against Tielmans who is no mug. Controlled it from start to finish.
  22. He was pretty prolific every time he played in the Belgian league, a move to Zaragoza didn't quite work out (I can't tell you why as I simply don't know). He's your classic target man - he doesn't want to be pressing and chasing the back line, he wants crosses in the box early and direct and we just haven't played like that. He has strength, he's just not being told to use it correctly. Exactly the same as Gallagher.
