  1. Smallwood dragged us through the first few months of our League 1 campaign when the rest of the team were struggling to get going. His and Bennetts performances against Shrewsbury at home when we effectively ended their chances of reeling us in will live long in the memory. They were phenomenal. Smallwood was a brilliant L1 signing.
  2. Smallwood hasn't been anywhere near the first team for months so we already have improved on him with Travis. Travis and Evans are a top 6 CM partnership IMO. Evans is underrated.
  3. We've been linked with both Daniel Ayala and Morgan Fox in the recent past. But sadly not Megan Fox.
  4. Not by me. I've got respect for those that served our club well.
  5. Graham was instrumental in getting us back up. He allowed the likes of Dack to flourish. A proper Centre Forward. He'll be missed.
  6. There's no way we're signing a European from a European league. Unless he once lived in Yarm.
  7. Thanks for the heads up...it doesn't really help though.?
  8. Are people returning when they re-open or are you staying away due to Covid? I really need to get back but I've got the fear a bit.
  9. http://roverschat.com/season-verdict-19-20/ "As a final note, with expectations, what we must remember is that we’ve no given right to be in the top six, and that the Championship is a league that sees plenty of ups and downs over a season, so we should manage our expectations accordingly" The new breed of post-Venky Rovers fan, happy with a mid-table Championship finish. Tony 'I hope we get in the Top 6 one day' Mowbray is the perfect manager for these times.
  10. Exactly, Butterworth came on at Ewood for his debut and was the best player on the pitch - strong, quick and glided past people for fun. That was enough for me, and the old friend of your dads?
  11. I was looking on Luton's site and they had ST's up for sale back in March on renewal. If we'd done that we'd have already sold thousands potentially. As it stands now, why would anyone buy a ST at any football club that doesn't have a massive waiting list? You might only be able to watch half the games and never be able to sit within 2 metres of your mates. Football as the spectator sport we once knew is ferked for the foreseeable future.
  12. Butterworth will be an excellent player if he steers clear of injury. I also don't think you know enough about the rest of the players, or have seen them enough, to write them off.
  13. Nyambe had one assist this season. I don't think we had any from left back? Bennett ,meanwhile, had 4 assists. Downing had the most with 8.
  14. Some interesting Championship team stats for the season:- Rovers had the least amount of shots in the league from inside the 6 yard box - 0.7 per game (no surprise at all to anyone who's seen us play - very few crosses go in to the danger area) Rovers were 19th for total shots per game - 11.5 Rovers were the 6th highest scorers - 66 goals Rovers were 22nd for number of tackles made per game - 14.2 Rovers were 8th for possession % per game - 51.6% Rovers were 11th for pass success rate - 75.3%
  15. Summer Transfer Window - The window will open on July 27, at the conclusion of the Premier League and Championship seasons, and will run until 11pm on October 5. There will also be a ‘domestic only’ transfer window to October 16 when Premier League and EFL clubs will be able to trade with one another.
