  1. Didn't work like that with Reed. And we might not be able to afford Tosin again, especially if Citeh ask Rovers to pay a higher chunk of his wages.
  2. Sounds about right. 2 goals in 28 Apps last time he was in the Championship. Should fit in with Gally and BB?
  3. It is a target. We'll need a new back 4, keeper and manager but I admire your optimism
  4. Less than 40 goals???! Is that before Christmas or for the whole season. If it's for the whole season we're probably going up as champions. Good times.
  5. I might be joining you. The staff at the DW gym I go to have just been told they are out of a job tomorrow as the gym is shutting. Feel for them, a days notice is just wrong.
  6. Surely the head of recruitment will know as well. I'm sure there a few at the club who know the players we're in for. Sharpe will have contacts, if he hasn't he's doing something very wrong.
  7. Not quite the Championship yet but Harrogate have been promoted to the EFL, beating Notts County 3-1. Jon Stead has just hit the post for Harrogate.
  8. I thought they had a Russian Oligarch funding them? If he stays they'll be fine.
  9. He hasn't done as well as Dyche and no fecker wants to live in Burnley!
  10. He's done a great job overall, my point was more about how much money he's wasted on poor signings in the last couple of years.
  11. Bournemouth did that and got relegated. I think he's a very likeable bloke and a good coach but some of his signings at B'mouth have been Brereton-esque.
  12. A young lad being criticised because he's been thrown in to the first team, acquitted himself well in a unfamiliar position and has shown obvious potential. 'Yeah, but, he only scored a great goal in the U23's so that proves nothing' FFS!
  13. I think Butterworth and JRC are better than OK. Agree that Buckley looks lightweight but you can tell he's a talented footballer. I haven't seen Vale yet but Mowbray raves about him so he's another one. We won't be far off a 1st team of Academy Grads soon.
  14. Check out the pass made at Sheff Wed to set up one of our goals. Perfectly weighted and the type only played by players who have good awareness, vision and intelligence.
  15. I'm looking forward to seeing Buckley, JRC and Butterworth next season. I think all 3 can be very good Championship players if they are given a proper run in their correct positions and are guided right. All 3 are talented.
  16. Ah I see. Well, that's the crux. There will have to be a stipulation that the club takes no responsibility for games that can't be watched live due to future lockdowns etc. This is pretty much what Waggott imposed retrospectively when he refused refunds on last years missed matches. I'm sure all clubs will cover themselves legally and state ST's are bought with the understanding that all matches can be watched either on ifollow or live at the ground, but not always both. For that reason ST's may be a cheaper this season.
  17. That's one way of looking at it. Lets say the EFL allow 25% of Ewood capacity, that's about 7,800. There's no way we'll sell that many ST's so they might as well put them on sale.
