True, but It's not how Mowbray plays. He likes his 2 CM's to 'recycle possession' as he puts it and not move very far. I'm sure there's' more to both Travis and Evans games and I'm sure they could score more if they got forward.

Travis and Evans is a very good Championship CM pairing IMO. There aren't many other areas of the pitch we can be as confident in.

Sharpe, in fairness, doesn't break many stories, but when Rovers aren't interested in someone he tends dismiss it quite quickly. Likewise, when he sticks his neck on the line like this the transfer normally happens - or at least there is genuine interest. I remember Woy saying that Dahlin was not as good as he remembered him after another gash performance in a Rovers shirt. Woy was obviously using Tony's European scouting network. It spoke volumes about how poorly clubs are run if players are being signed on memory. Kevin Arnott is one of my earliest memories as a Rovers fan. Him and Micky Speight. Arnott was a Sunderland lad iirc.
