  1. Too risky for Norwich. Them getting a fee for their player would then depend on us getting promoted. They will want a fee for him this summer before he walks away for nothing next year.
  2. Apologies, for some reason it hasn't quoted the original post 🤔
  3. Completely agree with that we have to acknowledge both but the day we employ a young head coach who seems enthusiastic isn't a time to be negative. Not when for the last month we all thought we'd end up with a has been AGAIN or someone with zero experience. I think we was all gutted when we didn't get Carvahal or Farke, but atleast we've got a change from the norm and something we can hopefully look forward to. It may not work out, as all employments are a gamble. And I don't claim to be or am not a super fan, just a rovers fan thats wanting the best for the club and to see us succeed.
  4. He may not have the English experience but his experienced assistant was at sheff weds for 2 years. I think you have to look at the positives rather than the negatives.
  5. Welcome JDT! Exciting appointment and excellent that he's brought what seems like an experienced assistant with him where he had success at Malmo with him. The 3 year cycle of FFP should of restarted this year? So hopefully funds available to him to build.
  6. I would love it if we could get Van Hecke back, i dont think he'll be in Brightons first team plans for the upcoming season. Surely a couple of million with a small sell on fee would get him.
  7. Haha I'm not guilty on that one, even though I did post a screenshot of wiki straight before 🤣
  8. Just looking at Colaks career record though. Looks to have struggled in any half decent leagues and then loaned to a lower league where he has done well. Maybe Championship might be his level though, bundesliga looks a step too far for him His movement looks very good on that video though.
  9. I know very little about JDT but excited about him coming in, he's not a washed out / monotone manager, he's an exciting young up and coming coach. He seems to come across well in interviews, let's give him a chance and see what he can do. He'll already have an idea of what he wants to do with the team, he certainly won't be walking in blind and will of done his homework on where he needs to improve the team. Is there any stand out players from his Malmo team that he could go back for?
  10. Read this morning on here that it seemed like Ferguson was favourite to be coming and all chaos surrounding that, work ensued, football tonight so not had chance to keep up, a million pages later and it's now shifted to Farke? Can anyone sum up todays rumours for me please so I don't have trail back through pages Thanks in advance!
  11. JRC for Brown and Dolan for Markanday for me. Not a terrible squad but get a few injuries then we're well and truly screwed. Need a couple CM's, a new winger and new CM. Would probably need a new CB aswell with Ayalas fitness record and I don't think Magloires up to it. Rb also a cause for concern but think other areas need looking at first
  12. What does everyone think of lenihan at RB in a back 4? I'm shocked at how comfortable he seems in the position, I know he doesn't give us the attacking threat that nyambe or another attacking rb does but he looks and reminds me of an old fashioned rb of yesteryear
  13. I couldn't believe that either. Loves to gives the players confidence who are replacing him Mowbray to hedges "I know your not khadra and you won't be able to recreate what he can do but try your hardest lad won't you"
  14. Atleast this season it doesn't seem like he's having a late season revival which has felt is what has kept his job the last 2 years
  15. How poor has dolan been aswell? He goes away with England, scores, then for the next 2 games Mowbray virtually ignores him
  16. I honestly think it's Mowbray that's killed us since Christmas, before, he stumbled across a winning formula, when that didn't go to plan he just hasn't got the tactical know how to change things. He's adamant we need to stick to our "winning formula"
  17. I can't believe how bad this game is, There's something seriously wrong within and has been for a long time Also, I can't believe how stubborn Mowbray is to stick with this formation when it hasn't worked for a long time
  18. I agree Kaminski Lenihan van hecke Wharton Pickering Travis rothwell Dolan dack brereton Gallagher
  19. Yes exactly, Johnson wouldn't be screaming for X amount of money for a squad revamp. He would already have a certain amount of trust from venkys due to the work he did in the under 23s. I just can't see them going for any ambitious managers, they'll want to keep the stability that Mowbray has built. We never know, Johnson might turn out to be a cracker
  20. I honestly think if Mowbray goes, we will have Damien Johnson in as caretaker. If you look at venkys history, k**n, black, bowyer, we're all given a chance after their predecessors failed. I think venkys will look at the good job Johnson did in the under 23s and look to him to develop these players in the first team
  21. What's the chances of him starting giles up front today? I'll lose the will to live if he does
  22. Jrc off nyambe to rb Pickering off and giles to lb to play a back 4 Travis rothwell dack cm Dolan Gallagher brereton
  23. Lack of composure has killed our season, if only we had bought a proper striker.....
  24. VID-20220319-WA0020.mp4 For everyone's enjoyment 🤦‍♂️
