  1. I'm hoping TM doesn't resort back to 5 3 2 again, he seems to have a habit of doing so when we're in such positions
  2. Looking at Mowbrays comments yesterday about Butterworth pushing for a starting spot I've got a feeling it'll be butterworth in the middle, with Gallagher and Brereton on the wings 🤦
  3. Any one know why Chapman has been left out? Great first half, hopefully we can keep it up in the second. Definetly need someone else centrally but dolans energy has been great and chased after everything
  4. Good entertaining game and good to see fans back inside the ground. Cirino looking sharp and hungry, very positive on the ball I thought Garrett looked very composed in the centre and I cant remember him making a foot wrong Pike struggled when he came on, Armstrong greedy and Brereton Diaz looking sharp after his exploits away No doubt mowbray will come out in the interview and say how bad nyambe was even though he had Harrison in his pocket all game.
  5. With Rothwell (dack) Travis Davenport (or new cm) Pickering leninhan Wharton nyambe Kaminski Surely with the right management above, thats a top 6 team, aslong as Pickering is an improvement than our recent lbs
  6. News just in... with just over an hour to go hes got himself comfortable on the halfway line
  7. Mine just goes to a black screen when I click on red button, anyone else red button working on virgin?
  8. Could Mowbray been setting this up with his words the other night "we aren't a premier league club anymore" .....worrying
  9. Kaminskis going to be nakered at this rate the amount he's had to fetch the ball Absolutely shocking 30 minutes, 0 shots
  10. We've somehow gone from over passing to no passing / unable to pass 🤣
  11. I agree with all that but unfortunately I can see us keeping Bell and Williams due to having limited amount of defenders and letting them go would demand new fees for new players. I also can't see him letting Evans go as he is a full international and would look towards getting a fee for him.
  12. That sounds almost like having the same brush but I've changed the head 10 times and the shaft 4 times 🤣
  13. And yet he leaves Gallagher on the pitch who has offered nothing all game
  14. I dont think I've ever seen a whole midfield get changed in 1 go?! Absolute crazy, its like starting a game all over again. Completely take any tempo or rhythm you had out of the game
  15. Agreed. Playing 4-3-3 you need to be defensively strong. Something we're not. If you watch Douglas he constantly comes out of position, its almost like he thinks he's playing left midfield.
  16. We're being annihilated on our left side. Douglas constantly out of position, slow to get back. No defensively cover from Gallagher not helping matters to. A sorry first half, every time Norwich attack you can sense a goal. Every time we attack it ends up back at our defence
  17. I agree ? But first we should aim to break into top 6 before Christmas then be pushing on to the top, but.... history shows us that we're not consistent enough with mogga at the helm. Hopefully this year will be a change and when we're not playing well like last week we can grind out ugly results
  18. Looking at the table after last night we need to win this game tonight. If we lose tonight and fail to win against Brentford on Saturday then the top 6 will be pulling away from us. I think tonight will show how much this group of players want to be up there this year. If we win tonight, Watford Swansea and Reading fail to win then we're right amongst it!
  19. Yep! Crazy, I think from refs position and speed in which it happened it looked as though he got fouled by i think it was JRC
  20. Mowbray needs to change something to alter the game flow. Disappointing thing will be that it'll probably be Gallagher ?
  21. Wasn't that a foul on his own player! Soft soft penalty!
  22. Brereton and Dolan play completely different though. Dolan is your typical winger, takes on a man and 7 times out of 10 looks to go on the outside and put a cross in for the striker. Brereton isn't a typical winger and is a no9 whos instinct is to run at people and towards goal. Would we be better off with two typical wingers or good to have a balance? I agree that neither can be dropped in current form.
  23. Constant reader of the forum but felt like I need to reply to this... I read someone's post a while ago but I wasn't sure it was true but I think the what ifs and close margins to this season, I think that post thats stuck in my mind could actually have been true, I went something like this.... I dont actually think mowbray and 70% of the team actually want to get promoted. You've got mowbray who knows he won't get a better job than this one, and if he gets us promoted with the current structure of the club he will fail and will get himself sacked and then be out of a job and not racking up a pension, You've then got the likes of Bennett, Williams, Bell, Evans, Smallwood, Samuel, Johnson and you could even count Gallagher, Brereton, Rothwell, Graham who know they're not good enough for the premiership, if we did get promoted they wouldn't cut the mustard and would need to be replaced or be in their twilight years and have to try and find another club lower down and move the whole family again. Every time we get within whiskers of the playoffs, there's no urgency, no determination, no arte et labore! We then drop off, and they show what we need to see and pull off results by all playing as a team to then repeat. It just doesnt make sense for them to be promoted because they're comfortable at this football club. Mowbray has done an amazing job over the last 3 /4 years and we'll hold him forever grateful but i think its time for him to go. Sorry for whoevers original post this was along the lines of but its resonated in me for the last 6 or so months.
