  1. Depends or not if he wants to rough it in league 1 again. With only a few years left as a pro, would he rather play in the championship for a bit less? He's hardly likely to be skint. Be interested to know what his weekly salary at Wednesday is tbh.
  2. Evans and Lowe probably the 2 worst professional footballers I've ever seen wearing Rovers shirt. Utter dog shite!
  3. What about Barry Bannon from Wednesday if they don't get promotion? Always looked a decent player to me and seems to give 100 %.
  4. I don't see why we can't keep the kit we already have. Both home and away shirts are lovely. Just need a new sponsor that would suit the shirt.
  5. Given the right guidance and finance I don't see why Rovers can't compete with the likes of Burnley, Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth, Fulham, Southampton, WBA and the likes. Anyways, football in the prem is a closed shop for the top teams. Christ! Even spurs whome I loathe beyond belief and haven't won anything for donkeys deem themselves a massive club. We will have our chances again but not for now.
  6. So let's say Norwich are already relegated as are Watford then a choice of Everton, Burnley and Leeds United. Who do you see in the Premier league bottom 3 end of next season or thereabouts?
  7. They will be back down again next season, probably along with Fulham and whoever wins the play-off's. More parachute payments boing boing boing... Football is buggered IMHO.
  8. Last few posts.... No no and no. Rather have Don Mccacky back. For me, if he ain't to interested in the QPR job, give the rocker Ainsworth a chance. Considering his success at the choir boys why not?
  9. It's not beyond the realms of possibility yet. Goal difference could come into play so Rovers need to bag a few without reply to stand any chance.
  10. They have a very good chance of automatic promotion so I'm not surprised tbh. Could be party time for them. That said 1900,if I was a Bournemouth supporter l would be tad disappointed we were not allocated more tickets.
  11. Iirc, the vast majority of West Hams fans sat down on the terracing at half time!
  12. Are you using your UK email address to sign in? If so, it won't allow you access to the live game. Try using and overseas email address.
  13. Lost for words re the first half. Absolutely awful. There has to be changes at the start of the 2nd half surely.
  14. Thread mood better now......... So far. Dolan for me as been immense mom for me.
  15. Both great players but for me Sutton was more versatile. Could be played in defence if needed.
  16. It was a sentimental choice and a bad one. Great to see him back on the pitch but not having played for so long.... The wrong choice. Apart from Gallagher, Rothwell or Khadra again I can't see any other option other than maybe Van Hecke.
  17. Dack should never IMHO taken the penalty. My granddaughter would have saved it. Should have been Gallagher or Rothwell..
  18. Probably the most tepid first half performance I've seen. Hope it changes 2nd half.
  19. IMHO, apart from Fulham who would have to invest in new players to stay in the prem, there are no championship sides who would even compete in the Premier league. Kind of sums modern day football up for me.
  20. If I had a choice between reading this match day thread, watching the game live or root canal treatment without anaesthetic I would choose the root canal treatment. We played well with virtually no forwards. Wasted chances x4 that I can think of. Buckley, van Hecke and Rothwell were brilliant as was Travis. Next 2 games at home will decide our fate inho
  21. Can't help but feel that Giles would prefer to be on the left.
  22. Would love a win but can't see it happening tbh. Hopefully, please, no more injuries.
