  1. Colne Dynamoes had more on for some games.
  2. Going back to the 90s I borrowed a couple of books from a Rovers supporting mate of mine. One book was about all rovers league tables since when and the other was about Burnley. Both included attendances. I looked at the season when Burnley last won the league and compared the gates we got against theirs. Now, if my memories serve me right, when Burnley won the league in was is 1960/61....????.....where did we finish? 7th or 8th. When I totted up the league and cups attendances for that season and averaged them out Rovers averaged appx 7000 more per home game than Burnley. Tit for tat I know. Just hope I remembered rightly.
  3. Brilliant hard fought win. Well done lads. Must be the hardest working team in the league.
  4. The £10 match day pass regarding Rovers TV is now available through the club website. Just purchased myself. Domestic and international available.
  5. I would put Grant Hanley in the same bracket tbh. His buffalo head seems to weigh him down as did his temperament. Never ever thought he would make it as a Premier league footballer with Newcastle... Even with Norwich yo-yoing between the championship and Premiership. Pig farmer springs to mind.
  6. Not sure I should be posting this but one of my closest friends was employed as company accountant for one of Mr. Walkers sons / son in law, not sure tbh but they were part of Walkers Trust. He told me about an amount of money spent on a single family holiday. Eye watering to say the least.
  7. Billy Hamilton getting injured in the pre match warm up helped us!
  8. Are you sure Charlton ground shared with Palace? My only trip to West Hams Upton Park was to watch Rovers v Charlton. My memory is not what it was mate.
  9. How many Charlton supporters bothered to show up? I was there and reckon appx 10,000 which was poor to my way of thinking considering the distance they had to travel. They were in the top division aswell, wonder what their average attendance was that season?
  10. Considering tonight's shocking result how do the management and players pick themselves up for Sheffield United? Goal difference shattered ( OK a small point) but surely a winnable game against a team who can't string 2 wins together. A game Which could decide our season I think.
  11. Just had a peep at the Fulham forum and not even a match thread so to speak. Just a "Wednesday at Ewood" topic of no interest to me apart from one of their posters calling us Little Blackburn!!! I just hope we don't lose tomorrow. I'll be happy with a point considering the injuries we have. COYB.
  12. I'd agree about better teams 3 of which are WBA, Fulham and of course Bournemouth who will walk this league. Rovers are amongst the other teams who could easily get into the play off positions provided Mowbray doesn't balls it up plus injuries
  13. Liking the the look of Van ( flipping) Hecke... The young guys a confident player. Did well today. Sign him up.
  14. Just hope we don't play like we did at QPR. Total dross that was. A clean sheet will do for me.
  15. Give the lad a break.... He's not the first man or the last to do that. Just goes to show how athletic he is.
  16. What a shame Van Hecke scuffed that chance. Would have been a brilliant goal
  17. Mowbray complaining to the assistant ref that only 4 minutes added time was it. Fuck me, it was Rovers who were wasting time in the first place. Shittest, most unorganised performance I've seen for a long time. There has to be changes now as we can't carry on like this. It's soul destroyingm
  18. My bad.... Didn't realise there were 2 Armstrongs in the squad... Obviously Stuart got the nod above Adam.
  19. Benched for todays game v Leeds. Came on as sub and did OK. A Southampton win without him in the starting line up could mean more time sat down.
