  1. The official website and socials constantly shoving current players down our throats tells us all we need to know. "Like new signings" is going to be the narrative as much as they can. Tyjon, Travis, Hedges, O'Riordan... Who needs investment??? The club is on it's arse with these owners and a plodder of a CEO driving the rest. On top of that the local journalists are mailmen that do not add any value, even after a season of failure and a near miss. F*ck your season tickets is my message back to Waggott and the owners! 🤬
  2. I think the penny is finally starting to drop, even with the happy clappers.
  3. It’s complete and utter nonsense too. A football club is a business, with paying customers. You have to run it properly to keep the business. Hardly rocket science, however it is a lot more difficult when you’re 5,000 miles away and not that good at it.
  4. Let’s judge them after the summer, every summer.
  5. It must be inspiring as a player to come back to a squad that hasn't been invested in, or that plans to invest late on in the window 🤣
  6. Worth remembering in 2022 and 23 this was the best our commercial department could do back to back.
  7. E-cigarettes linked to lung cancer, study suggests

  9. It's clear we've gone into this summer without a plan, and how could we under this ownership? You can't help but feel (if you have any sense) that the club has taken a huge step backwards over the past 12 months from what looked like progress. No plan, no ambition and funds not being reinvested into the first team anywhere near sufficiently enough to progress. The problem when you're this disorganised is that the money that does get spent is wasted; and you will always struggle to attract fans, a decent manager and good players. Most CEOs would have been potted by now if league success and prosperity of the club truly was the goal. The reality is it isn't and anyone who's ambition isn't disingenuous and falls more on the sporting side will eventually be forced out. Yet again, there is one common denominator in all of this... Venky's. They are an old school Indian business lost in its own bureaucracy, unable to make decisions and give anyone a decent platform to perform. They aren't even capable of telling their own season ticket holders why they are here and what their goal for the football club is, neither is the current Chief Executive. They are incapable of running a successful football club and never will be. Still finding their feet 15 years later... unwilling to communicate and their intentions still a mystery. We will not do anything until they are gone.
  10. Southgate makes changes without actually changing anything. He's England's biggest problem.
  11. He's being played out of position. He's reached higher levels in the middle this season than he ever has on the left.
  12. We can't start pretending John Ruddy is a good signing. Surely? Christ. Let's at least have some standards for this club. Washed up unimaginative signing yes, good signing no.
  13. I'm not against it, it should be completely humiliating for them.
  14. I'd pay to fix some of the things around Ewood myself. They need to get a grip. So little pride amongst the senior people who can make a difference. Waggott OUT!
  15. A nice lesson for the "everything is fine at the club" happy clappers or the few of them that remain. Better owners and he could have been part of a well managed, well funded starting 11 for the two seasons he played. Instead he was surrounded by Indian government BS, managerial chaos and an incompetent CEO. It's the same story with Venky's nearly 15 years later... Tragic, absolutely tragic what they have done to this club.
  16. The Brentford model vs the Blackburn model, oh and everyone gets to keep their job during those 10 years (unless they decide they don't want it anymore), it's completely up to the employee. 🤡
  17. It's called the 5 year plan, in reverse. Which ultimately results in a new 10 year plan.
  18. The club is not moving forward under Steve Waggott it's as simple as that.
  19. The worrying thing is I think he'd get in the team.
  20. / returned him... So I can see this one happening under Waggott's watch.
  21. Preston released him cause he was on the piss before games.
  22. and the reality is the reduction isn't enough to signify "come back" or "we want thousands more fans in Ewood", it's a £30 gesture to the fans that had to endure last season to do it all again. They're gonna have to pull some rabbits out the hat to rescue this club and I just don't think the current management have it in them. I was watching this carefully. We want our Rovers back has to be the message again soon.
