Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Staffordshire Rover replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
In VI post match interview he mentions Toddy (made of tissue paper) having concussion and will be back in 7 days. Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought concussion protocols were 14 days before returning and it starts at midnight of the day of the injury. So the warrior can’t play against Watford -

I feel there is more to this, it’s as if the staff behind or above VI have come up with the 5 at the back and he is refusing to alter things as it’s on them. Why else wouldn’t you change? Or the bloke is completely clueless and is waiting for his next pay out. -

If Cantwell misses this through that elbow against Ipswich then why did the medical team let him carry on playing for the rest of the game. If there is an actual issue why not put a mask on and fight for his team…he’s supposed to be the captain -

If you are not going chase the ball down when you lose it then you shouldn’t wear the shirt. Thats the basics we expect from our players, don't get me started on his ability because he is way off a Championship footballer -

Chant (to Yellow Submarine): In the papers that we read, Stands a writer that we need, Telling stories true and strong, Elliott, you can’t go wrong… 🎶 Chorus: We all cheer for Elliott Jackson, Elliott Jackson, Elliott Jackson! We all cheer for Elliott Jackson, Elliott Jackson, Elliott Jacksoooon! -
Not really a protest idea but one to annoy the powers at Rovers, I suggest a slight tweak to the recent Tommy Robinson chant - to confirm I’m not backing the recent chants I’m simply trying put a positive twist on it Oh Harry Harry, Harry Harry Harry Pickering Oh Harry Harry, Harry Harry Harry Pickering

Take him out properly and the game stops, do a soft clip and the ref waves play on -

Harshly done there today, I personally think a draw was fair but to lose the game like that so late on is heartbreaking. I’m not having that was a pen, both legs collapsed at the same time, they were tied together! But that ref always has that in him. Axel has to commit more of a foul when they break to score the winner! Fuck Pasha and Venky’s we go again -

Watching Dolan today reminded me so much of Diaz and Rothwell in their last 6 months of contract. -

Perfectly put. I think he is hoping to still be in the game with 10 mins to play and luckily get a chance to score, same as Stoke away recently. We have nothing to lose so why not just have a go in games! Protests aside I don’t think I could watch a season of what I’ve watched so far under him! -

What is his style of football? We are just turning up to games and that’s it. I’d take hoofball over this nothingness -

I’ve been very critical of Diaz recently but him coming on as a sub in my opinion is a better option, he is clearly not fully fit and should be used like this for the remainder of games. Diego Szmondics is a clear fan’s favourite at the min and his work rate is exceptional. -

The balls lands within the 6yrd box, Pears has to be claiming that rather than standing rooted in his line. BBD would be more use stood on the half way line -

He did that all game with every ball in the air, even off throw-ins he just jumps out of the way of the ball. He is 6ft + and then when the balls in the air he becomes 5ft 7 -
Attack v Defence all game, superb to come back from 2-0 and a real spirited 2nd half! How eager was that ref to end the game, constant time wasting all half and how they only decided it was 5 mins I do not know, score in the 91st and he blows bang on 95…awful ref Also a positive how Leonard put himself about and was very unlucky not to score

Staffordshire Rover replied to Sweaty Gussets's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The players should have seen that in the keeper and gone at him, but we didn’t and never created enough. If you are blasting it back to your own player on purpose then that’s inexcusable, knock it to the half way line or beyond and then bollock Pickering. I’ll be honest we were not up for it tonight, you have to be at it on a cold night in that shit hole and we simply weren’t. -

No I watched it live at the ground, what was the keeper doing? On keepers did you see the massive air flap by Pears and then the smashed pass/drive back to Pickering in the first half. If anyone looked a bag of nerves it was ours. Can’t fault him in the last 4-5 games but tonight he made me very nervous. In general we were piss poor tonight
