I actually know Pears through a friend of a friend and have been on a night out with him. He's relatively quiet a lad even though the night turned quite heavy. Didn't come across well initially till my mate explained. We'd all started in rounds on pints but as the night went on we moved to vodkas or tequilas. Anyway every time it was his round he went missing. Originally thought it was a bit odd and presumed he was a bit tight - especially for a footballer.
