  1. I said it earlier but if one of the better writers on here could pull together a 'football Joe' style engaging read highlighting the issues and some of the more comical bits I think that could do numbers on Reddit. Between r/pune (200k viewers, today's top post has 320 votes) r/Indianfootball (230k viewers, today's top post has 420 votes), r/soccer (8.5m viewers, today's top post has 2.1k votes) and r/championship (113k viewers, today's top post has 194 votes) there's probably at least 500k people self declaring as the interested group. Make it nice and easy for a lazy tabloid intern to lift and re post and it's more engagement than we will get anywhere else. Slight edit, if we choose to do this - we'd need infographics or some sort of scrollable story. Also a set time it's posted and fans who have set up Reddit accounts. Upvote each one as much as possible within the first hour or so to drive the engagement up and get some natural boost once others see upvotes.
  2. Given the number of players leaving over the summer, is there anyone in the academy/out on loan pushing on the first team door?
  3. Director of Football Gestede said 'Fuck off' to 13,000 of the 31,000 capacity Ewood park. At no point during this did he sense an issue, which is probably why we are where we are
  4. We're now in the annual sulk squad mode Won't be long till Hyam is back whining at the fans
  5. We are shocking at getting the ball on to Gueyes head in the box. It's such an obvious thing it amazes me we fail to do it so regularly. There shouldn't even be a second thought on playing any type of ball in that isn't a lofted ball on to the 6ft 5 mans head
  6. I actually know Pears through a friend of a friend and have been on a night out with him. He's relatively quiet a lad even though the night turned quite heavy. Didn't come across well initially till my mate explained. We'd all started in rounds on pints but as the night went on we moved to vodkas or tequilas. Anyway every time it was his round he went missing. Originally thought it was a bit odd and presumed he was a bit tight - especially for a footballer. Some of the group even got a bit angry over it with him. It wasn't till the 3rd or 4th time that another in the group explained. Pears can't handle any shots on him.
  7. I don't want to get onto them for that backline because I think we've sat back too much under Ismael, but I reckon I nab a goal Vs that back line
  8. I mean this as a point of admiration but the resilience you show in the face of all rationality is astounding
  9. Hard to weigh up Ismael. On the one hand we look wildly unorganized and impotent, but on the other - what a letter
  10. Does nothing for 90 minutes and pulls that out. Sign of a good keeper
  11. Gueye playing in the hole whilst leading the line. If I was a midfielder I'd be embarrassed
  12. What's our record vs Robins' clubs? Off hand I can't remember a good performance
  13. There's no grit to him, his heads probably half way focussed on his inevitable cameo on stranger things season 5
  14. Charity Rovers giving points to clubs in need. Waggots probably asking if it's tax deductable
  15. As a note, Gallagher winning a header here is the most unbelievable part of this story
  16. Baker floats the ball down, Gallagher wins a header and Phillips knocks it in - 78th minute
  17. Is anyone concerned that every other club has said this manager starts well then form goes off a cliff? This is the 'good' bit
  18. What we could try and do to turn this game is lump it forward 20 yards either side of our 6ft5 target man repeatedly. It hasn't worked the first 19 times but maybe the 20th
