  1. Why isn't he called Arnor Eidurson by the way
  2. This money for JDT wouldve got us promoted
  3. I feel like there is, but unsure if playing Michalski in cups may rule us out?
  4. Impressive how much of this reads like Arnor Sigurdson. I don't remember Eidur being a chunky character but his soon seems a bit girthy
  5. Suggested chant for the new striker You're Smit, and you know you are You're Smit, and you know you are
  6. Is he doing a Shelly Miscavige
  7. Apparently Derby have changed their forum display
  8. Is modern football now at the Facebook mum 'hun, here for you xx' level
  9. Putting my happy clapper hat on, imagining I'm an 18-25 year old rovers fan. Is Travis a legend?
  10. In true football manager tradition he will get injured either in his first training session or game, and be out for 6 months
  11. Very cynical and insensitive of me but I'm not fussed Buckley is gone. Moreover, the fact he never advanced as a player from more or less his debut and the fact he's now signed in Saudi in his prime id suggest are related, and as much as it's sad hes leaving after 20 years I'd be asking myself why if that was me and be looking at my motivations and whether my decisions such as this move will help me further
  12. Id rather Duffy the Welsh singer was marshalling our back line and winning headers over Shane Duffy
  13. If we do turn Hyam over I wonder if we go back in for Isherwood. Big, cheap, GBE free and having a good season based on Google
  14. Very hardworking and positive guy in dressing room. He can play as left winger, AM, left back and wing back. He was our best player in second part of last season, when he was playing as midfielder that goes wide. I don't know if he will be good. He had 14 goals and 14 assists last season - which are great number, but it was more due to his amazing form from february till end of season. Before and after (this season) he was just an ok 12th player for the team. With right coach? Maybe? But you will like him anyway. Morishita was very good last season, but he looked very bad in Iordanescu's more direct system, so I figure they thought it was the last chance to cash in on him. Edit: I actually think he needs some rest. He is playing non stop since february with almost no vacation, cause after ending season he went straight to national team. From a Legia fan
  15. Has anyone made a Ryoya Rovers (read Roy of the Rovers) reference yet? That's a gimme for the social media
  16. He's concussed Which might lend itself to our negotiations
  17. From what I saw on YouTube he's an 8 or a 10 - not a fullback
  18. Don't count your chickens, Gestede did work experience with Waggot. We've still got the 'offer them less in person once they've flown to Manchester' tactic to pull yet
  19. It's clear we're looking in the Polish league, this lad is the 2nd or 3rd player linked
  20. Video of Morishita Can't quite tell what position he plays, seems to find himself in a lot of space and be technically very sound. May link up well with Cantwell and Henriksson (if he gets up to speed)
  21. For the football manager fans he's a G+A returning 'mezzala' For normal people, he's done quite well in Poland and is a midfielder who drifts wide
  22. From a Reddit thread on the Championship board, talking about protests... Cov fan Literally none of it worked. It's depressing as fuck, and eventually I just stopped going. Most effective is whatever is going to cost the owners more money, and give them bad publicity. But if they've got it in their head they're not leaving without making a profit, or regaining their losses, there's no way of forcing them out. A 100% boycott might work, but it'll never happen because they'll always be fans who go no matter what. Sheff Wed fan There are so many β€œI just want to watch the game” fans it beggars belief. It’s as soul destroying as the ownership. Preston fan "we should be grateful to the owners for keeping us afloat" is one I hear a lot. Congrats. They did the bare minimum Cov fan Yeah I’m sorry to say that literally nothing worked. We had 5,000 fans marching through the city, tennis ball protests, fans on the pitch during games protesting, a whole movement dedicated to boycotting games and buying nothing from the club (shirts etc), verbally abusing the chairman and board. None of it worked. Bad owners don’t care about how fans feel. They just wait for an offer that will make their money back. Sorry lads. Cov fan At the height of us being fucked around by our previous owners, NOPM (not one penny more) movement was created - fans would refuse to spend any money on the team, including going to the games. Im not sure if it worked, Sisu genuinely didn't seem to give a shit. It did, however, create a bit of a divide amongst the fans and you can still hear some people in the grounds take a bit of a swipe at those returning to the ground once the good times started up again. They'll wear those miserable years in Birmingham and Northampton like a badge of honour. At the end of last season I genuinely heard a Cov fan saying he missed the days when the attendance was 6k at the Arena because they had more space to sit wherever they wanted.
  23. Are you over 6ft tall? Are you at a relatively unknown middling 2nd rate European club? Are you open to less than 10k a week? Step forward, now is your time!
  24. As much as I hate where we are and think it's pathetic today was a great example of why when you've not a pot to piss in, the pot might as well be 6ft tall and rapid. Just need one upfront
