The January 2026 Transfer Window
London blue replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The liars would try to tell you that we had to sell Hyam. He was never going to sign, wants to be closer to home, is a Wrexham fan and loves Deadpool. -
I'd rather be owned by a Mike Ashley than be the sports washing public front of a tyrannical middle Eastern state. Judging by your thoughts on eligibility to host the World Cup Chaddy, I'm assuming you'd be more than willing to turn a blind eye to major human rights infringements if it meant throwing some blood money about?

I would venture to suggest that the manager of Spurs knows a great deal more about the qualities of his players than good 'ol Chaddy.

So, so vague. Only a select few people would read this and be reassured. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
London blue replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I disagree fairly firmly on all points 1. It's an open letter. Often the intended audience to such a letter isn't the addressee. 2. Are you able to point me towards an institution/group of people better placed to claim to speak for the majority of Rovers fans than a coalition of the club's biggest supporter groups? 3. I think this is fairly widely accepted as a way to starve out negligent owners, and outside of football, a boycott is probably the most widely recognised form of protest against a business. 4. Wholly disagree. I think it's well written, impassioned and earnest. There's no need for militant language, and I would argue that using such language would be detrimental to the cause. There are far too many people looking for a reason to discredit the coalition and their aims. -

What about this, what about that? This obviously isn't an enforced ban on people spending anything at the club. No-one is going to be picketing the Rovers store. Just listen to what people are saying, for once. -
Joseph will almost certainly be off before signing a pro contract. He's exactly what PL scouts will be looking for in a young striker.

You have claimed he is wrong then rehashed EXACTLY his point to disprove him. -

I've lost count how many times you've mistaken people disagreeing with you for them not understanding the point you're trying to make. -

To a degree, yes. -

The tone has shifted, I think. There's far less rage in response to this loss than I'm used to on this board. Confusion about starting De Neve, sure. But mostly resignation and apathy. The way the club's decline has accelerated over the past 12 months is truly frightening - there's currently not a single thing I can say I'm proud of about supporting Rovers. -

I've never seen anything more predictable. We are fucked. -
This is just plain stupid, I'm sorry.

I said it at the time and I'll repeat, the club's currency is secrecy and deceit. I don't think anyone should be to blame for formulating theories when a lack of information is provided. -

No we bloody well didn't. And even if we did, what difference does us knowing it make? Half the season is half the season. -

We're so shit that our own twitter account hasn't had anything to say for 11 minutes, and that post was a yellow for our shite midfielder. I'm beginning to really despise this club. -

In a moment of madness I thought about trying to buy this game on the rovers site. It wouldn't let me, most likely because the website backend consists of a Nokia 3210 strapped to an iron lung. Sounds like I got lucky. -
Yeah I get it, it's still a funny sentence, though.

Selling Wharton to fund a contract for Mateta? Wow.
