Yes not having a dig we are all just so desperate to have something, someone or just anything to actually get behind.
-
But Hughes hasn't done that ANYWHERE since here 20+ years ago with still a modicum of Walker Trust backing for a few years. It's pie in the sky stuff to even dream he'd do anything with this lot now. Bet365 behind him at Stoke, done nothing since.
-
Not that Richardson would be any good for here anyway but at some point in the not too distant we'll probably be swapping places with Reading so why the hell would he come here. Decent Championship club if the get a bit of investment and get moving in the right direction whereas we have league 1 written all over us these days. And the biggest sign of that is those running this place.

Ticket allocation for Norwich City

So there's more than 25 available then. I'll be amazed if we have 500 there tbh. -
Misty eyed nostalgia is taking a grip again on too many as if Hughes walks back in and the last 20 years evaporate. Reality needs to dawn i'm afraid, we'd be far safer getting Mowbray although that certainly wouldn't be my first second or third choice.. Sparky is useless without a decent budget and the Tafia and remember he did nothing at league 2 Bradford City the biggest club in that league by far at the time. Yesterdays man too long in the tooth now with too many recent failures.

And there something regarding a land deal as well with wee Barry. Came here for a quick buck nothing more.

Barry Ferguson ? My god the turd list is going off the scale now.

Ticket allocation for Norwich City

They must've got some more then seeing as they were all gone by Monday morning but yet are still on sale now. -
Anybody notice the pattern yet. Ex gaffer, ex player, ex player, ex gaffer, ex player.... This has desperation written all over it, all to probably try and get a few fans back in. Which a lot of those names won't.
-
And grok says it looks like Valerian Ismael.... And politicians want AI running things !
-
If there is one bad spell but good stuff wherever else they've been it's a better omen than being poor and sacked everywhere else they've been. Aside from one good season somewhere 5 years ago.
-
A character like Sav working under this pair of clowns has disaster written all over it. Unpopular opinion but someone like Waggot would be better overseeing a Robbie Savage not some jumped up over promoted tea boy.
-
Nothing. Just another who some friendly agent has constantly tried to get through the door again here. Standard lower league fodder.
-
Savage won't touch this unless they made him an offer he couldn't refuse and a budget to work with. He's carving himself out a decent career where he is and if successful he could end up with a crack at something decent. Besides that old hippy feasting on gov subsidies will want a compensation package that would make Rovers run a mile.

Exactly what iv'e been thinking for months and the main issue i had with Ismael. It's completely pointless most of the time football wise and all it has delivered is knackered players, injuries and late goals conceded. Need to get a coach in who actually coaches a bit of football into them in the final third so we can create chances. The hard running should be done across the park and in particular midfield not all the forwards trying to pin the opposition in their own box but never seeing the ball nor a chance aside from pouncing on the odd mistake. It's like oh we can't create chances with the ball so we'll just try and force mistakes as our number 1 creative philosophy. -
Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach
Tomphil2 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
There'll be no 'take' from Val just like the rest. He was happy going along with it up until something gave the other day, quite possibly the hearing of other potential names being banded about i'e Tony Mowbray. He's a Frenchman and his ego might have been rattled with that so he's decided to bail before he was pushed. In future he can always say it was a disagreement over transfers and not he was sacked because his win % was one of the worst in 100 years. If we'd beaten Hull but sold RA or Totth without replacement he'd still be here lets be honest. -

He's a good footballer no doubt and iv'e been impressed with his effort at times but he lacks the physicality to be a free roaming midfielder in this league. I'd like to see his talents 'on the ball' be utilsed better. -

Exactly. I think what the reason is we think perhaps his talents on the ball could be utilised better and we should't be just relying on him every game to try and put in one killer pass. Hopefully a new coach recognises this. -

I don't act like anything so don't be a slapped arse because your favourite is getting some stick. If he's so effective how come we aren't seeing anything come form it ? Nobody has questioned his effort but the salient point is he's too lightweight to do what he's being asked - or more likely demands - to do. He isn't Gazza he's a twig so why are they setting the team up for him to try and play like that ? -

Are we a team who can afford to carry one player in a system designed around him in return for one pass that carries a 25% chance of being converted into a goal ? There ca n be a place for him but he has to be a cog in the wheel because he isn't the engine that drives it but that's how they try to do it. -

People keep using the word potential in regards to Cantwell but he never really shows any. Yes he's one of the only actual footballers we have but we can't keep having the team set up just for him to drift around falling over. We aren't making the best of what he might bring and he shouldn't be anywhere near the captaincy. -
Wouldn't be averse to still but i genuinely don't think Rooney should be totally ruled out. It's just the typical thing one of the Indian owners might do if they get wind he's interested. Big name to trumpet about back in India where most of em are Man U fans. Plus he works cheap if he really wants the job and will probably agree to walk for nothing if it doesn't work. He's a live one for sure.

Younger, on decent money, think they saw him as someone who they expected to become the main centre half. -

I still cannot get over the fact those at Ewood thought he was a suitable replacement for Hyam. Absolute extreme cost cutting and downgrading that was. -

Jorgensen is the type we probably won't see the best of until next season, after a full summer pre season with hopefully a gaffer who knows how to use him. Thought Johnson did well tonight it was never going to be good i don't know what some expected. Ismael leaving solves very little at the min other than an opportunity to go back to basics a bit and try and tighten up. Mowbray or Eustace wouldn't have approached it much different knowing what we know about them and more importantly this squad. Ismael likely loses that 1 nil.
