  1. I just saw Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait. It is a truly phenomenal piece of work and a must for any serious football fan.
  2. I go see Borat. I recommend, very nice.
  3. We'll get beaten. Martin Laursen to score the winner.
  4. Are you spelling like remedial student on purpose?
  5. A shocking performance in the first half from Rovers. Only Basle's finishing was worse. Defensively we were all over the place and against better opposition (Feyenoord for instance) we would have paid the price. The last 15 minutes were brilliant. Tugay is a class apart when it really matters. Yes he gives the ball away on occasion but truly he is a special player. His goal was an absolute work of art. I was glad to see Jeffers get off the mark. The manner of his penalty betrayed his brittle confidence and his determination to break his duck. Well done to the guy. Once again, Bentley looked very good. He obviously thrives on confidence and his skill prior to McCarthy's goal was simply jaw-dropping.
  6. He's a good player and his goal-scoring record speaks for itself.
  7. Tell me you didn't actually hand over money to go and see them?
  8. Were they shocked at how rubbish it was?
  9. Redknapp is a moron. While clearly a nice guy, he really fancies himself as a pundit and has a severe case of verbal diarrhoea. On a number of occassions yesterday he showed off his fancy new phrase: 'applicate'. Now when I was at a school, the proper verb was 'apply' but seemingly Sky has resolved to create an entirely new footballing dictionary.
  10. I'm still absolutely fuming about this result. While it was inevitable that we would lose this game (and players who haven't scored for donkeys would score), it was the manner in which we meekly surrendered that p*ssed me off. Savage is a pretty limited footballer but he never gives up the ghost and would have harried their midfield all day. We allowed dangerous players like Benayoun and Reo-Coker time and space to play. Yes we dominated large swathes of possession but lacked any penetration whatsoever. When West Ham broke they looked dangerous. Notwithstanding the shafting we received for the corner prior to the second goal, we deserved nothing from yesterday's game. Disappointingly, the home side looked like they wanted it more. Our weak opposition was exactly what they needed to pull themselves from the mire.
  11. What a load of rubbish. We've dominated that game but we have been caught out twice and paid for it. The second goal shouldn't even have happened. When was the last time West Ham kept a clean sheet?! When was the last time Hayden Mullins scored?! Shocking.
  12. West Ham haven't scored in donkeys. They're without a win for even longer. It's a West Ham win then with Tevez laying waste to our defence.
  13. Wahlberg is fantastic. The highlight has to be during a scene when Matt Damon is talking to his colleagues in a conference room, turns casually towards the door and Dignam is strolling past giving him the finger through the window.
  14. So which would you recommend? Are there real players in CM?
  15. I'm considering buying FM (though not before I upgrade my iMac and sit important exams at Christmas). Can someone please tell me the difference between FM and CM? Which is better, more comprehensive etc?
  16. Just bought Bully on Play. I've been looking forward to it but didn't realise it was already out. I think I'll wait for to get a 360 before buying the new Splinter Cell. Has anyone played Yakuza? I've heard mixed reviews. Also I must recommend Gun for the Xbox. Too short but absolutely brilliant nonetheless.
  17. 'U! G! L! Y! you ain't got no alibi you ugleh, you ugleh. U! G! L! Y!...'
  18. Better than our last visit to Spurs?
  19. My dislike of Bolton deepens. They are a consistently lucky, invariably ugly side who will always ruin the party. I am really ticked off.
  20. Absolutely pathetic. As soon as the score alert showed up on Sky Sports 1 I knew we'd conceded. But missing two penalties is just unacceptable.
  21. As is Welcome To The North, a song that really should be played at Ewood whenever poncy southern sides come calling. They are still together.
  22. Bentley comes up trumps again. He is very good at the moment. We got three points out of a nasty away fixture. I'm delighted.
  23. Keown has always come across as very intelligent in interviews. David James is a very smart guy.
  24. Along with Socrates, Tostao is also a doctor.
