  1. I always like reading that"who's played for both clubs" segment on the front page. There's always a load that I forget, some I had no idea on and others is not heard of. Frank Stapleton played for Huddersfield. Who knew? So, Hull. There's Bob dewhurst, David mail. That's all I can think of 🤣
  2. Clearly no-one is going to be able to buy it from them . As a going concern we're absolutely busted. It's mind boggling just how crap these people are
  3. Nah, my idea of a moisturiser is a couple of pints of Guinness. I'm not doing too badly for fifty one. The dinosaur noises when I get out of bed in the morning aren't the best though
  4. It's rovers that's done it to me.🤣 https://youtu.be/VA7J0KkanzM
  5. I would've look at Millwall even now. It's all on Norwich and pne now. Maybe Coventry, but doubt it. Rovers are impossible to predict, but if we do get into the play offs, I would see that as a bonus. We've had a very weird season, were difficult to predict. But I don't think we fair too well when the pressure is on. If we get to the final, I'll be very pleasantly surprised. Get promoted and I will have to seriously review my religious beliefs
  6. It's my birthday and I'm done with getting upset with it all. We're sitting ducks in terms of league position. I would say it's agony watching us cling on to sixth, but in my bones I know we'll drop out soon and not get back in
  7. Was going to say except sheff United in the cup, but the manager borrowed that in the last ten minutes and the rest is history. So yeah, bottle merchants
  8. My birthday on Monday. Not sure I want to know the result until Tuesday. No middle ground with this team at all. I'm expecting a loss, but we're very hard to predict, so you never know.
  9. What happened there I'm now quite sure. But the club is dysfunctional, I would hope we can agree on that. And the buck surely stops with the absentee owners. It isb twelve years of absolute calamity, and the day these people kindly fuck off is the day this club has a chance to get it's heartbeat back
  10. I won't name names but there's a widely respected player of the eighties who said to me, and this is at least six years ago now, but probably more "the first thing that venkys will get right is putting the club up for sale". He's absolutely been proven right to my mind. It's just perpetual torment being owned by these pricks. Why they don't turn it in I have no idea. And to think there's people out there willing to forgive them. Staggering
  11. There was a rovers fanzine, can't remember which one, that did a cartoon step called Jimmy's boots Based on Billy's boots. Except these boots made you "beamo" everything. Suffice to say, it wasn't complimentary in any way
  12. I should think the medium might have something to say about that.
  13. Them old school trackies, I'm in love. BRFCS should get a run done. And the shirt as well, magic.
  14. I think Wilcox inherited the nickname which doesn't make a great deal of sense but hey ho
  15. Think you're right there. If he still had his tache,I would've known right away never found out why he was called windy
  16. Can anyone name all of these? Back row I have sellars, ???, Hendry, O'Keefe? Diamond? Front row ainscow? Garner, Mackay, ???, Barker, sulley
  17. Loved watching this https://twitter.com/Rovers/status/1508877902779199495/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1508877902779199495&currentTweetUser=Rovers Then old school trackies at the beginning 💕
  18. How could I forget Celtic? I think the first leg in particular was the best I've ever seen us play. That really was an absolute gutter.
  19. "Soft lad" 🤣 I fully endorse that. Whether it was the subs or not, we lost and I think we need to accept and move on now. There's still a lot to play for, let's see what happens.
