There's no good reason to keep hold of Mowbray. If we shunted him, how many clubs would be queueing up for the geezer? How many clubs right now would be thinking, God, we need Tony Mowbray in here, he'd get this club sorted out. He's no bleeding good, he can't put a squad together, he can't put a team together, he's about as inspirational as Eddie Edwards skiing backwards blindfolded. And he's tainted by association with Steve Swaggot. What does he offer this club? All this money being spent by venkys and nothing to show for it. All I hear in return is a load of surrender monkey dribble about how we're not in the premiership any more and can't expect any better. The reason we're not in the premiership any more is because our venerated owners keep hiring talent-free parasites like Mowbray. We're a magnet for greedy dossers like coyle, waggott, Derek shaw, Paul agnew and more, all because of owners don't know what they're doing and want to delegate it all to someone else because they can't bloody well be bothered trying to put right this appalling mess which their stupidity, greed and entitled attitude helped to create. And some people a happy for it to carry on, because apparently it's the best we can do! I know what football's about, you can't expect to win every week, but you try to give yourself the best chance possible. This club is handicapped each time we got out to play by the leaden mass of blood-sucking leaches slowly draining the life of of us. I don't see why we should just accept it. Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is, and the day I'm happy to lose is the bloody day you can put me in my box. Take a deep breath boys, and reach down for a new set of balls

Lost in the quarters to Brentford in 89 I think it was. also remember almost beating Liverpool over two legs in the league Cup, sellars headed in a pearler.

Wishful thinking here perhaps, but if we go winless through March, Mowbray gets sacked, does that mean Steve Wankalott goes too, and the cash-out land grab plan goes with it too? -

How far did you get before the wheels came off -
The sad truth is that venkys ownership is a story of missed opportunities, bad decisions, wasted time and money and stagnation. The day they took over, hope, desire, optimism, that all died. If they do ever get rid of him, they'll hire some other waster and the whole story cycle will just keep on and on. Ten years of this so far, will it ever end? What on earth they get out of ruining a perfectly good football club to the extent that it takes millions just to keep it afloat at the level they've sunk it to, christ alone knows.

Amazing that Kenny had got dragged into this. Funnily enough, I remember being at Watford Away during that run. Think Roy scored for us then we conceded two. The difference is that the manager and coaches knew what they were doing and cared, the club was united, the players were motivated and organised. We just panicked. The situation now, and I admit I didn't see the game, has more in common with Fred karnos circus -

The worry is that moggadon will go and leave venus extension and waggageddon behind. He's spent an absolute barrel load of cash and he's taken us nowhere. But he won't get sacked -

Perhaps a case will be made for selling all the training grounds, as we're obviously not using them -

Expectation management, aka priming. Who knows, maybe he's got a bet on. I've given up caring.
