  1. I'm not on about players going on holiday Chaddy, I'm talking about the pally approach of Mowbray which seemingly certain players take advantage of. Morale is one thing, being a soft touch is another.
  2. We need a modern day Souness or Roy Keane tbh, the holiday camp needs closing and we need to start firing a few rockets up incompetent backsides.
  3. Martin Olsson is still a free agent ain't he? Not amazing but still a Bell upgrade
  4. Back 3 of Tosin Williams Nyambe then play Downing and Bennett as wing backs is our best option. Well, Rankin-Costello over Bennett is our better option but he's not gonna drop skippy so it is what it is.
  5. Pretty much how I'm feeling too tbh With xmas on the horizon I'm gonna be progressively less tempted to attend as well now sadly, I just can't be arsed going through the motions week in week out. The Preston turnout is probably going to be as embarrassing as on the pitch too. I'm still gonna go that but after it, christ I'm not even sure at this point.
  6. Its definitely time for 3 at the back and Downing and Bennett wingbacks now. What Downing lacks on defensive skills he makes up for by just having a brain to be brutally honest, Bell is terrible and shown no signs of progression since signing. Absolute headless chicken and causes mass panic at the back.
  7. Absolutely shambolic, worst we have played under Mowbray. We are going to get torn apart at Preston theres no doubt about it whatsoever. If Cunningham is out for any period of time we really do need to start thinking about how we will stay up, Bell is THAT shite.
  8. What are you wittering on about? Obviously its Mowbray who's playing him out of position?
  9. And pre season? And the rest of his career?
  10. There was a blatant sense of optimism which probably prompted a few hundred walk ons, that soon fizzled out when Luton went 1 up. We're so bloody frustrating it was inevitable really wasn't it.
  11. It's quite simple. He is a striker, when he's actually started there he's scored goals, not really hard to grasp is it?
  12. Downing was terrible yesterday, looked completely off the boil. Not sure if he was ill or something but he's impressed me most games. A few times there was an obvious overlap and he just stood there instead of giving the option.
  13. You do know hes injured right?
  14. I'll break it down for you. Grabbi was a striker, was played as a striker, was shite. Davies was a striker, was played as a striker, was shite. Brereton is a striker, played as a winger, scores when plays as a striker.
  15. Doubt many of them will be back sadly after the shower of shite on the pitch!
  16. Can actually see us winning this because they'll come here to have a go. 3-1 Rovers
  17. One of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read on here.
  18. Almost an exact replica of the Charlton shambles first game. Absolutely livid at the inept performance yesterday, one that pretty much condemns us to another season of mid table mediocrity. We just cannot play against these type of teams.
  19. Its SUPPOSED to ease off and just be a bit showery most of the afternoon, although that seems hard to imagine looking outside at the minute...
  20. Christ it's gonna be a wet one today but looking forward to it regardless. My Facebook timeline just reminded me its 7 years ago today that the repulsive cretin that is Steve Kean left us, I'll drink to that ???
  21. https://www.oufc.co.uk/news/2019/september/six-game-flexi-ticket/ Not sure if this has been posted previously but it's a decent initiative. Midweek games are a no go for me 9 times out of 10 because of work commitments and I miss another chunk of weekend games for a variety of other social and family commitments as I'm sure most do.
  22. Samuel could, in theory flourish playing in a front 2 with Gallagher, running on from his flick on's. If he keeps banging them in he at least deserves a run out.
  23. If we underestimate Luton we really could come unstuck. Pretty sure most fans and pundits alike will make us clear favourites but it's true there's no easy games in this league. Treat them with respect but seal a nice 2-0 win and I'll be a happy chap.
  24. I often work away and stay wherever they put me, not really arsed. If I stay in say a travel lodge though they're always full of workers, be it sales reps or scaffolders I rarely go to a quiet one!
  25. It's down the road from the m65 then others within 15 mins or so, not a bad location at all for a business traveller.
