  1. Exactly. God knows why Matt thinks he should stay here to have 'one last shot' at resurrecting his career with us, he never gets a frigging chance.
  2. Dress it up however you like, it's a poor, poor signing.
  3. Barmyflags.co.uk could sort it and have done a good job in the past. Not sure how the design/payment etc can be arranged though.
  4. Newcastle seem to start like this every year, don't see what the fuss is about. Freddie Shepherd is an absolute clown, feel sorry for Robson, one of the true gents in football.
  5. Im sure hes not fit. If souness hadnt been such an idiot todd would have at least played a game in pre-season and had a chance to get fit. And what if Todd wasn't fit to play pre-season? why wouldnt he be? He started training the same day as the rest of them. At the end of the day he was wrong to refuse to play. Souness should of fined him. Not hold a personal grudge against the fans player of the season and refuse to include him in a squad ever again. All I'm saying is that you have no idea about Todd's fitness, we'll leave it at that.

  7. I wouldn't say that's entirely true. More like a last roll of the dice in my opinion. It's happened quite a few times in recent seasons. One that springs to mind is Peter Reid at Sunderland. He was given cash to splash, (think it was on Flo and Stewart), but was shown the door a few weeks later.
  8. Souey's only saving graces now IMO could be the signings of MGP and that Corduroy bloke whatever his name is.
  9. Lets hope he's given the baptism of fire Vs those blasted Mancs on Saturday then. We can all see we're crying out for a bit of skill/flair/excitement.
  10. By his usual standards I guess he did play 'ok', nothing more than that though. He's still terrified of the touchline. you taking the ###### dave? his corners were diabolical, his cut back for shorts acrobatic shot was nothing short of a ###### disgrace, i could do better. sooner hes dropped the better p.s. did u go heys I was being slightly sarcastic which is why I said 'by his usual standard', I think he completed 1 pass in the 1st half. In fact Craig Short showed more ability to beat a man than Emerton with his cheeky drop of the shoulder which resulted in him being hacked down. Yes I did, quite a few in last night. was a top run by short! till he got took out i was in near big screen with old blue away top on was well busy Bit sad when your aging centre-half produces the brightest bit of skill for your team all game though eh? I was sat in the main set of seats facing the big screen with the usual suspects. Half of Ossy must have been in there last night

  13. Well, for one he teaches his players how too excel at what they are best at, but most importantly gives them faith in their own ability and gives them CONFIDENCE. He also seems to know exactly how his team are meant to play, and never sways from his beliefs. He's a man on a mission. That's true enough mate. I know he'll never manage Rovers but I'd love the FA to persuade him to take the England job one day. But then that's just dreaming
  14. Class. Pace. Power. The Manager. The Tactics. And more importantly............ TEAM SPIRIT. Arsenal have it all, by FAR the most complete team the premiership has ever, ever seen. Rather than slag Rovers off I'd rather give credit to Arsenal on this thread. Fabregas is gonna be a star, same applies to Reyes, to be honest I think Wenger could turn Grabbi into a world beater, how does he do it? End of the day we must aim to kill united off in the first half and we ARE capable.
  15. There's a reason Gally is out of favour, part of the same reason Flitcroft is. I'm not stupid enough to post it on here though.
  16. Was he not sentanced to imprisonment at Slade prison under the control of Mr Mackay ? No I think that was Andy Todd
  17. Right so, just to clarify. Morten Stanley Pedersen won't require a work permit to play for us because Tottenham are part of the EU?
  18. Or more importantly, WHERE'S TODD?!?!?!?!
  19. Oh ######, there was me thinking he was NORWEGIAN. Berg didn't require one because he had a bulldog called Winston and he liked black pudding.
  20. Don't think it's been mentioned previously on this thread so I feel the need to ask: Anyone know if MGP will require a work permit?
  21. Well at least we're safe in the knowledge he ain't a dingle, the yorkshire swamp inhabitants.
