  1. So Walton has made the EFL team of the week again, twice in a row now. Still, Raya was amazing aye?
  2. I want us to win every single game regardless of level. It's a good chance to give fringe players a run out as well tbh. Breo, Rothwell and Chapman all need to start really but apart from that not too concerned who else plays. Saturday is a huge game and one I think we shall win...
  3. He was decent against Oldham tbf. I think he'll play him against the Blades so let's see where he's at fitness wise then. I simply can't believe he's not match fit yet.
  4. Hell fire Dack was dancing past players against Hull like Best in his prime and people are crying about him on here. He's not scoring bucket loads of goals, yet, but the lad is grafting his backside off. We must surely have the most whiny ass fans on planet earth.
  5. What? The Vine is down the road from the ground and one of the best away pubs going!
  6. Theres on street parking round the Vine pub where most fans are probably heading pre match
  7. You're not familiar with Neil Warnock then?
  8. They aren't favourites now after a shaky start, pre season it was between them and Leeds depending on which bookie you use. However, they're still 4th favourites.
  9. After filtering through a lot of shite and some sense, my comments are as follows. We were crying out for a decent defence pre season first and foremost, correct? Seems to be going ok now, correct? Make no mistake, Cardiff were promotion favourites and WILL 100% be top 6 this season. To me today looked like 2 teams perhaps respecting each over a bit TOO much. A good team is built from the back, we are making progress people. Of course we need to bang a few more in, it's in the pipeline
  10. Wow such a contrast to here on Tuesday night, can't even be arsed to read through it all theres sunshine to be enjoyed and further ale to be supped.
  11. Yeah we went on a 4 game run in both April and January. The January one was when we got a bit giddy and the words Wembley and playoffs got banded about, went 2 up at Brentford then it all went horrifically wrong winning just once in 11 games ?
  12. Doesn't really make sense though if so, it's his signing, why would you bother if you didn't rate him?
  13. Chapman scores again for the U23 team. I get the cautious approach but he's definitely fit enough now to be more involved with the first team.
  14. One of the most ridiculous things he's said in here, and theres a whole catalogue of others to pick from ???
  15. Should see a few extra fans on tomorrow I reckon. Weather is looking great, we've picked up a few good results now. Not really heard how many Cardiff are bringing up though? I think with Tuesdays team we'd definitely win this, just a few concerns with Cunny being out. Given Del's comments about playing left back I honestly don't think he will do, it's likely to be Bell, so 2 weaker full backs. I'm going for a 1-1 draw, I'd take that i guess.
  16. He did, came off the bench
  17. Something badly amiss at Stoke, that's 2 decent managers now who've failed to get that star studded squad to perform.
  18. Wow anyone just see Raya coming out to claim a cross then against Leeds? ???
  19. I'd be playing Hart too for this one, he can't really do much worse than Bell. Who ever plays though you'd expect Cardiff to try and exploit us in the wings against weak full backs. It'll be interesting to see how they react tonight after their pasting on Sunday. Imagine they got the mother of all bollockings off Warnock. Before we give them too much credit they conceded 3 goals against both Wigan and Reading so far, 2 of the weakest teams in the league and scraped by Luton. Nothing to fear although I accept it won't be a walk in the park.
  20. In fairness they were very complimentary in the show that followed the match (forget what its called), particularly about mowbray. We'll never be the golden boys on there though like some.
  21. Hull fans are massively full of praise for William's. Its risky when you factor in injuries but maybe, just maybe Mowbray had confidence in the Lenihan and William's partnership going off how well they played together last season too. Tosin gives us that backup when fit, at least I hope he's backup now and isn't slotted straight back in the team. Pretty sure we would have crumbled in the last 15 last season, the commentary team were quick to point our issues out, last night I wasnt the nervous wreck I was ALL last season though!
  22. Disagree and the referee got that one absolutely spot on, in fact he too had a great game. It's not an offence to mark a goalkeeper, it's pretty much common practice. If he'd got clear of Armstrong and then been held back it would have been a foul. The fact the keeper didn't even appeal spoke volumes.
  23. Gallagher won everything in the air again too, Armstrong seemed to be nowhere near any of the flick ons anticipating them and running onto the loose ball though. That bit of trickery just before he was substituted was excellent.
  24. It's a real shitter that Cunningham can't play at weekend. I'd actually be inclined to play Hart at left back though rather than shunt William's out wide, even if Tosin is fit. Lenihan, Williams and Walton need to keep on playing together and developing their understanding on the pitch.
  25. Well that was far from perfect, and perhaps a bit fortunate in parts but many positives to take. Thank christ Del told Mowbray he wants to play centre half because he's just ten times the player he is at left back. There was one incident when he had to cover for Cunningham and he got skinned! The pressing play was brilliant, how many times did we force them to pass it to one of our men? Some big claims by Walton which I'm pretty certain that little Spaniard would have slapped at. Bennett the obvious weak link again today but I don't want to dwell on that too much after the result. If Cunningham had a brother who could play right back we would be in dreamland though! 3 wins in a row if we count the cup, things are slowly looking up.
