  1. Not sure Leeds have the players to rotate either, their biggest issue is they don't seem to have a plan B.
  2. I feel as though we're a lot better equipped this season defensively than last tbf, not just in terms of ability but mentally too. Of course there's been a few blips along the way like with any team, but last week as a prime example - I wasn't a nervous wreck expecting us to collapse. Last season I think we lined up with Captain Flappy Bennett Lenihan Rodwell Bell Assuming we line up the same as last week its obvious who the weak link is but I don't want to be overly critical as the lad still grafts. We know better than anyone their keepers biggest weaknesses and will hopefully look to exploit them all game. Get Downing firing them balls in. If we want to make another comparison with this fixture last time we really REALLY did need to win there we did, sadly the final outcome wasn't the one we wanted. I haven't been this nervously excited for a game for a long time.
  3. Yeah we always taxi it to Preston or Manchester. So much quicker and usually cheaper overall.
  4. Of the available options it's got to be the first for me.
  5. The tight schedules have spoilt it for me and stopped me going. It's still doable but it wouldn't be the same. Shame really as we would have had a decent following there too ?
  6. I'm leaning more towards a massive YES
  7. He seems more sprightly lately which is great to see. I still think this lad will flourish, I know, I know I'm in a minority but I'm rarely wrong when it comes to talent.
  8. Yeah I get that. I've met many players over the years though but some are full of shite and some aren't, at least seemingly, genuine, which is what Bradley seemed to be. Saturday afternoon, absolutely horrible weather and he still traps up to watch us, that to me is a great sign.
  9. True, I'm not one to be blinded by comments but he was genuine. And tbf why would he move on anyway?
  10. I'm trying to think how Tosin or adarabioyo fits into a name tbh Haha I absolutely love the guy and if anyone doesn't appreciate his talent should go and stand at the turf watching hoofball
  11. Aye true, maybe a bit of the old stage fright
  12. We haven't missed Rothwell at all, if I'm a bit harsh so be it but in my opinion he's a brfcs enigma and actually average.....
  13. I'd be interested to see how a fiver game went down at Ewood. Tbh I spoke to a lot of their fans yesterday and they were pretty negative about it, saying all the plastics came for that game. It did start emptying second half and pretty much a sea of red by the end. Regardless of that though, we need to tap into the plastics...
  14. Quite ironically last season it was against Brentford away that my mate booked Wembley hotels when we went 2 up. Let's not talk about the aftermath. I feel at the moment that we aren't them guys anymore that throw games away. Fire them balls into the box, Mr flappy will flap and we will win.
  15. Won't let me upload the pic for some reason, maybe cos I always get told off by the mods ? But mr Dack was sat in the away end with us normal (ish) folks and was an absolute gent. Spoke so highly of us as said "not a chance" he would leave any time soon
  16. Captain flappy will probably gift us a goal tbh, Tony knows his weaknesses all too well and should look to exploit them. #teamwalton
  17. His best performance for us I feel. I've been a bit sceptical and wondered what the fuss is about him, my dad watches the U23 games and raves about him. Yesterday I kinda got it. He hasn't been brilliant but you get that with young lads and we should most certainly persevere.
  18. THIS We want Lionel Messi not Adebayo Akinfenwa!
  19. Next week basically defines our entire season for me. Beat them and yep we are 100% promotion candidates. Lose and heads will undoubtedly drop. I'm just pissed off it's an early KO, can't stay over as my missus is nearly due!
  20. Dare to dream fellas! Now THAT was one of the best away days I've ever been on despite the stinking weather. Such a solid performance and who better to judge us than opposition fans who I quote after the game were saying "by far the best team we've had at the valley, you will go up". Literally cannot fault anyone, seeing the main man sat with us just completed the day too
  21. Don't think he's really in a position to comment on costs of attending football anyway he just seems to watch highlights then post inane drivel on here ?
  22. @rigger Hell fire right up your street this ?
  23. Christ its FIVE pounds a ticket and someone wants cheap transport laying on ? Is that with or without free booze and a packed lunch as well? Its probably the cheapest ticket in the football league tomorrow ffs.
  24. So 2k sold, get yourselves down for a ticket tomorrow if you haven't done so already ?
