I guess by making Bennett captain it strengthens his case to stay in the team though, unless of course he was actually planning for Lenihan to be captain. Pretty much my take on it too. We are walking a defensive tightrope with injuries though, fully fit we can have a decent defence, if he picks the right players and plays them week in, week out together. If Mulgrews loan actually gets confirmed I'd be making Johnson captain 100%, he won't be afraid to fire a few rockets up backsides unlike nice guy Charlie.
