  1. I wouldnt say a wind up, possibly a club plant......look at their X feed and it's hardly a big surprise either. Prime example of the content they post....
  2. Unless we're getting pumped 3 nil at half time, there will be more anger aimed at Eustace, BBD and Sanderson than there will at Venkys by the Ewood crowd.
  3. There's been some very disjointed performances this season, heads have been down and I'll openly admit I've questioned if the players liked VI or indeed understood what he's trying to do. Otherwise happy looking players have looked miserable as sin. In hindsight maybe they just care and don't like losing though? He doesn't really come across as a likeable person, but you don't always have to be to be a successful manager. Yesterday they looked like they were playing for him for sure, hopefully a couple of wins breeds more confidence. I have to say though, our last 2 opponents have looked like teams with managers on their way out, so it's no surprise Still has been binned off tonight. Like us, Bristol appear to have played struggling teams at the right time recently but came a right cropper at weekend so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out on Tuesday.
  4. So? Doesn't really make it valid. One of the masters of set pieces was Tony Pulis, except he didn't do anything extraordinary at all, just worked hard in training and adapted the players to suit their strengths. It was seen as the way forward for lesser teams like Stoke at the time and to an extent the dingles under Dyche. Now it seems to be the latest fad even with the so called bigger teams.
  5. It's got to be, that's not even funny 😳
  6. I don't really understand how this is an actual job role, it's not a complicated task to be half decent at set pieces. Still, given how shite ours are I suppose it may be a positive move....
  7. 2019 our last win there, a certain Mr Szmodics actually played for them that day! A ground and city I really like, but never seen us win there ☹️ still in 2 minds whether or not to go as I am off work.... Absolutely no idea what to expect but we rarely play well midweek, especially after a fair trek like this. 2-0 Bristol I think (sorry).
  8. Some of his crosses are dreadful - not knocking him one but, I'm a massive fan, but they are. I would say Brittain edges it on crossing ability, but for me Alebiosu is a better all round player - his pace is a defenders cheat code.
  9. Can't see us doing much at all to be honest, by that point Baradji should in theory be just about up to speed and a 'new' player in the mix. A centre half needs to be priority, I'm writing Carter off at this point as he's proven far too often he can't stay fit. We should really be sniffing round the loan market but I know VI doesn't favour loans. We won't sign more than 1 or 2.
  10. Decent enough. Hard to believe Leicester will be that bad all second half though, or their shots so wayward! Smart move taking Henriksson off, walking red card and offering nothing. The helicopter needs an appearance today ideally here!
  11. Liverpool will come good again, but they haven't got much time to do so with regards to the title race. Personally, can't stand them. Burnley Liverpool Celtic All 3 are off the cunt scale when it comes to football clubs.
  12. We had literally 1 shot on target against Coventry in the first half, granted we SHOULD have had more, but we didn't. The end result was 0 goals. If you're using that as the metric for justifying 'beating teams comfortably' so be it, but it's a bloody ridiculous claim 🤣
  13. Except you were talking about the Coventry game
  14. He said win comfortably, which believe it or not Chaddy requires goals, multiple goals!
  15. Randomly seem to have a decent record at the KP and picked up results there last few times I've been. Alas, I'm working on Saturday so won't be making it a hatty. 1-1 draw my prediction, decent on paper I suppose but doesn't help us much jn the grand scheme of things....
  16. Yes that’s not exactly groundbreaking news like, would be nice to see our version of Sheff Weds yesterday it looked absolutely pumping
  17. These scenes simply cannot be serious surely? 😂 A half empty stadium will never be able to create ‘scenes’
  18. Similar to Nyambe was in that respect, although at least he's got a goal to his name now! When you have his pace you tend to 'get away' with clumsiness a little bit as you can recover from mistakes. Agree on the final ball though, some are rather erratic and the main reason he's not quite at Brittain standards. You'd argue a decent coaching setup could improve that aspect of his game, here, not so sure.
  19. I dare say both Toth and Alebiosu will be our next player sales....possibly Cantwell too. As we know, much like with Brittain last season, any player having a solid season will be sold. Didn't watch yesterday for the first time in a while as car shopping took priority and I was that deflated after midweek. Maybe I should do it more often 🤔
  20. Can't even begin to imagine who Rudy would bring in to replace VI. Almost certainly wouldn't be English, unlikely to even have any experience of managing in England. Some dud who got a Belgian team promoted from the 9th tier one season maybe? I still want him to go like, sick of the site of him.
  21. Awful comments on Gueye and whilst I don't completely disagree as he's not amazing, it's a dickhead trick voicing his opinion like that in public. Gueye probably more than anyone at the club is a confidence player, treating him like that makes an average/poor player even less useful! VI is clearly a stubborn wanker and came up with the ridiculous concept of Hedges and Kargo up top as a result. I can't see many, if any of the players liking VI and I strongly suspect we'd see improvement in certain individuals performances if he went. Of course there's the argument they're well paid and owe it to the fans but ultimately its a job to them and nobody at all performs their best if they think their manager is a twat in any form of employment.
  22. His record is horrific, his whole appointment was widely frowned upon and he hasn't proven anyone wrong. The players whilst in many cases are limited in ability, are playing with absolutely zero confidence and the manager 100% holds responsibilityfor that. Yuki for example despite his goal tonight is a shell of his former self, even Morishita looks like he's had any positivity stamped out of him. These players are not playing for VI, they are not buying into his plan, whatever that may be. They don't like him, that must is obvious. Unpopular opinion maybe but we'd benefit from a Mowbray type now. Not saying specifically him but a similar manager who can put an arm round some of them and make them believe in themselves again.
  23. That was looking like another decent performance without scoring that was gonna be punished first chance the opposition had. Fair play Toth keeping us in at and a bit of fortune for the goal, that was deffo a shot from De Neve. Hopefully the goal breeds a bit of confidence into us now in front of goal 🤞
  24. De Neve probably deserves a start as he's looked half decent last few appearances. Please, just score first then we're at least in with a chance..
  25. Do you think? Do you really think VI was appointed because he was the best man for the job? They needed someone willing to work under a crackpot regime and not ask many questions, the requirement really was someone who's career had either stagnated or was on a downward trajectory. Essentially VI needed us probably more than we needed him! Even if he got sacked now his excuse would just be "yeah they got rid of any decent players, it's not really my fault ☹️" so he may save a bit of face. I'm quite staggered that there's still people out there that think 'the powers that be' actually want the best for this football club! As for the game, pffft, probably start really well and on the front foot, without scoring. Concede just before half time and the game fizzles out to another loss. Difficult to see any other outcome. The only way we get anything, even a draw, is clearly to score first.
