The Summer Transfer Window (Press Submit)
Ossydave replied to RoversClitheroe's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I know quite a few who would be onboard, there's a lot of people on this message board who'd know quite a few too. I'm not even sure it would need 100's. 1 pitch invader halts a game, even 20 would cause major problems. -

I dunno, there's an element of people now who are at their wits end, myself included. I couldn't give a shite now if I get banned from Ewood if it helps the cause I can only think that complete disruption of games is the only option now, let's be honest we aren't gonna be winning any. This is brilliant: -

Mafoumbi lands tonight on an initial trial, for a week. So it might be another week or so till even he signs, if at all. Still, it's probably the most movement I've seen on any incomings in a while. -

https://www.3addedminutes.com/sport/football/ten-best-new-kits-world-football-including-blackburn-rovers-4709690 3rd kit has been deemed one of the best, in the world 😎 Probably our biggest achievement for the new season..... -

Screams pitch cutting up to me too, it's not leaving much time for it to recover between the men's games. -

Baker has had a weird career spent primarily on loan all over the place. Seemed to have made the breakthrough at Stoke and fell out with Neil. Did score a worldie free kick last season against Rotherham mind, would be nice to have someone who could do that. Well aware Buckley scored from a free kick yesterday but it was almost a pass into the net. When you're shite at scoring from open play a free kick specialist would be a massive asset. The longer this goes on the lower people's expectations will become and we'd accept signing pretty much anyone 🥲 -
What kind of turmoil? They're hiding it well to outsiders if so. 7 new signings and only really lost Muric and possibly Taylor that would be around the first team. I doubt Parker was first choice for many but he'll probably do ok with that squad. It'll be very different/boring in comparison to the VK promotion season but I doubt they'll care of they go up.

Unless we defy all the odds and have a cracking start, it'll probably be the easiest it's been for a long while to secure a ticket

Got back off holiday around lunch, always a depressing time, made the stupid mistake of watching that shit show to make matters worse, utterly dreadful. I know I know it's pre season, all about fitness etc etc but you'd at least like to see a few glimmers of hope for the season ahead. Nah, none. -

Pissed off employee I'd say. This time last year I was employed by Mike Ashley, I despised the complete and utter mess him and his minions made of a respectable company. In the final months I had no issue telling random people on the Internet information purely from a moral perspective because I hate scumbag owners. This person seems to be in a similar boat. A genuine, decent person with morals. -

Sadly there'll probably already be an internal investigation into it. People were sacked last season for leaking pictures of the kit amongst other reasons. It's a fucking vile place to work now by all accounts after being a well run family club. -

Surely the word insider alone means its a current rather than former employee, otherwise why the name insider? That would make Rovers Outcast more apt? What I do know is most within the club are actively looking to leave, apart from obviously those who are highly paid for doing fuck all like king rat Suhail and slimey Steve, the twats. -

Hard to believe people on here are STILL falling for the stories, like Krul, that the club put out to pretend we're gonna sign anyone decent. Granted its getting less and less people as time goes by though. -

Well wheres it too tight? I'm an XL in 'regular clothing' too and an XL shirt fits me. Bit snug on my shoulders but I've got bigger shoulders than your average person. -

Dykes has 6, 8 and 8 goals in his last 3 seasons, bearing in mind that's in 112 appearances. Those are Gallagher style stats, he has 3, 8 and 9 but in less game (95). I know you enjoy turd polishing but if you'd be happy with that kind of signing the mind boggles. Thankfully I don't for 1 minute believe we're interested anyway, Nixon links us every transfer window, added to the fact he signed a new 3 year deal this time last year. -

Krul never was likely, he's just a character in this summers transfer pantomime that we go through every year. -

Something else to add to the list of depressing things (sorry).... In addition to the lack of signings, I make out that 13 teams in the championship have signed players from overseas now. I'm talking the likes of Sheff Wednesday, Derby, Plymouth! Fucking Plymouth! All seemingly having a better European scouting network. Or is it just that our scouts are sending recommendations through but just being told we haven't got a pot to piss in. In which case, what's the point in even having scouts? I should really have mellowed to this shit show after all these years but instead I feel myself absolutely ripping at the minute 😡 -

Not really to my taste but they'll definitely shift some of them, seen a fair bit of positive feedback. I've no issue being a bit experimental with the 3rd kit, which we're unlikely to even wear, it's how it should be IMO. As an aside, I believe the only reason it was launched today, before the away kit, was due to 'supply issues' on the away kit...... -

The Cooper story sounds like the ever familiar 'we tried' story as it mentions A) other clubs being interested and wages being a deciding factor. They'll have told Elliott to publish that story to try and give some hope that we'll sign a few and subsequently shift a few more season tickets maybe. All so predictable and ultimately we'll end up with a young lad on loan as option Z -
Rudy hasn't taken the time out to update his LinkedIn so can't look on that for clues as to what the job entails. Although if you look at what Suhail allegedly does you'll laugh, a lot, basically everything that's fucked at the club (mainly because he doesn't actually do it). As for Rudy I actually know what the job entails. Waggott as we know is retiring quite soon, Rudy has been brought in to shadow Swag and in turn inherit duties as he takes a 'step back' to "wind down" and ensure everything is in good shape before he departs (this is how he will have sold it the twats in Pune, not my thoughts). When he retures we'll have a combination of king rat Suhail and Rudy effectively running the club, I use the term running very loosely, running it into the ground is more apt. 9 years king rat has been at the club, 9 fucking years. I'd love to hear an interview about his achievements in that time I really would. I really hope that eventually the penny drops with the wider fan base and he comes more into focus. As much as Swag is vermin, he's at least engaged with fans to an extent (for what it's worth).

Nike fucked themselves over with the rainbow St George flag or whatever the hell it's supposed to be too. Lots of fans opting for retro, the offerings on https://www.prodirectsport.com/soccer/l/departments-clothing/subdepartment-replica/activity-football/england/retro-shirts/ A far better alternative, not to mention way cheaper, the '82 shirts my personal faves.
