Have Sheff Utd bumped their prices up then this season? Almost certain I didn't pay as much as £33 last season there. -
Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

Erm why? No reason he won't be getting regular game time at Ewood. He didn't get a full pre season under his belt, did you expect him to be risked at the weekend? We weren't chasing a goal either, had we been then he may well have featured. People are in a flap because he allegedly didn't wave at someone in the crowd and his missus said "he's ready to play". Let's scrap our medical team and get some bint in to make the calls on player fitness as well whilst we're at it 👍 -

It's such a pig to get to. It's just about do-able by train for around 120 quid, almost 5 hour journey each way and a mad dash after the game to get the the station which is about a 30 min walk -

It's a bit stupid, presumptuous and narrow minded to start bleating on about Szmodics signing spelling the end for Dack at the club. Whether we like it or not there's still question marks over Dacks fitness, even if it is at a decent level it's highly unlikely he goes all season injury free. Last season we were crying out for a Dack type to chip in, we didn't have one, which resulted in added pressure and expectations on the man himself when returning from injury. Having Szmodics on board means we can be more cautious with Dack, we can take less risks and we aren't throwing all our eggs in a Dack shaped basket. -

Buckley and Travis are pretty much the first names on the team sheet you would have thought. JDT clearly sees something in Wharton so he'll be around the first team, as will Garrett. I'm not fully convinced by Edun but I guess you'd also list him as an option there. Hourihane wouldn't displace either Buckley or Travis in midfield so would be an expensive aging bench warmer. I would have much preferred Seri if we were looking for some experience but that ships also sailed. -

Excited by the Morton signing, we've done well to bag him as he really was on the brink of being involved more in their first team. He looked a fair bit taller than Clarkson from what I remember although not particularly bulky. Surely people would rather have players like Morton forming part of the squad rather than older players drawing big wages like Johnson last season? There'll be another signing this week (minimum) and I think people will start to relax a bit and feel more positive as the sticker book fills up. I'm surprised none of the promoted teams are sniffing round Van Hecke as they've seen the bugger play, perhaps not Fulham though after his capers at Ewood 😕 -

Aye it is, doubt he'd be featuring in it though if he was joining us tomorrow -

Morton is currently in action for Liverpool so I don't think that one's imminent, if it is at least he shouldn't be too fat off fitness wise... -

I'd be more bothered if he didn't want to play, same applies to any of our players.... -

It'll be interesting to see if we set up different at all away from home. Can't recall Swansea making many dazzling transfers much like us, just the lad from MK springs to mind. Suppose there's still time for us both to add a few though. Going for a 1 nil away win, Vale to score in his home country. -

Been told smoddy fee is wayyyyy below 2.5 and he's booked in for a Monday medical. 2.5 is a promotion figure and based on appearances -

Those interviews though, I'm being brutally honest now, I'd let JDT read me a bedtime story any day of the week and enjoy it. -

On that subject, the 5 sub rule is gonna really benefit those lucky enough to have a good squad. Qpr blitzed through theirs but luckily didn't have much quality on the bench. I think it's a stupid rule yet again set to benefit the bigger teams. -

Can't ask for much more than a winning start for JDT 👍 Shame the Diaz goal didn't count then we could have waved our dicks about saying top of the league, but we move. Ayala once again proving he's one of the best in the league, just stay bloody fit lad! I still find it hard to believe he's only 31 yet I'm 40 and can train 5 or 6 days a week! -

Anyone else unable to sleep for shit? Added pressure to get the wins this season as we battle to try and get ahead of our toothless neighbours. The brief is simple for day 1, win and win by more than a 1 goal margin. Really hope it works out for JDT, if he manages like he interviews then we're in for a good season, the players simply HAVE to enjoy playing more for a character like this than monotone Tony. -

JRC had a few decent games for the first team when he was first introduced but seems to have gone gradually backwards ever since and has struggled with various injuries. Can't say I'm convinced he's going to get his act together and further improve though any time soon as he's been terrible on a few occasions now.
