  1. This is exactly how I imagine all our transfer activity pans out. GB is getting a load of grief but people are overlooking all the previous transfer Windows. Apparently he will talk in September, well at this rate he will be talking to say stick your fucking job just like most people would if they're working with such morons. It does beg the question why they've even bothered bringing him to the club if they're not prepared to co-operate. What's Suhail doing whilst this is all going on, or not going on? Isn't he supposed to speak to the loons in Pune daily? Nevermind though we'll announce some prayers on the pitch or an under 13 player signing a deal soon to try and keep the fans upbeat.
  2. I can see Dack sending out a massive play me next game message here and banging a few in. Really do need a win here to get that winning feeling back. 1-3 win
  3. Waheyyyyy there we have it, someone's mentioned relegation.
  4. He was our player of the season, he's obviously within budget, hell fire is it any wonder we want him back? It's not just on here either, it's our entire fanbase. We need a shot in the arm right now, he would be exactly that. The Sunderland deal is a loan deal so you're talking absolute garbage about Brighton only wanting to sell him outright.
  5. If Van Hecke and Van Den Berg both went elsewhere then Broughtons reputation would be in absolute tatters I'm afraid, unless he has a damn good alternative lined up. Although, I doubt either would have changed yesterday's result....
  6. Ayala was absolutely fuming multiple times yesterday, I can guarantee he's gonna get 'injured' soon if he doesn't get some better defenders around him. I honestly think we need a home game now and can see us winning the next few. Losing to Bradford would do a lot of damage though I feel, we need to take that one seriously and bang a few in.
  7. Lascelles is their captain and he's injured. Honestly wonder if some people on here even follow football.
  8. Isn't Lascelles their captain? He's also injured. Absolutely no chance.
  9. I suspect JDT and team have sat down and analysed every kick on Wednesday night, seems to have a real attention to detail.
  10. People are talking Sheff Utd up like they're 2009 Barcelona. Hell fire Wednesday night hasn't half changed peoples attitudes. Yes I get it was bad, do we really expect the same tomorrow?
  11. 2-1 away win, our 'league 2 standard' (according to some)players coming up trumps. Khadra to miss a penalty.
  12. Really don't know what's happened to Pickering. He had a shaky start for us, got progressively better, then got injured which coincided with our horror run last season. Ever since he's gone back to how he started, if not worse. When he's being targeted as a weak link by the opposition though its obvious we need to take action. Khadra is gonna fancy his chances at weekend, wouldn't be surprised if he starts in place of Brewster.
  13. No. I think it starts next round of midweek games. Apparently they can only show so many games on it and this round of games SHOULD have been when the world cup is on so isn’t included 🤷‍♂️
  14. Manchester to nice is what 2.5 hours flight if that, not much different to signing for a London prem club really.
  15. Is that the fee being talked about for Riis? Puts the 10m Nice bid in perspective if so 😆
  16. Nice are also after Pepe apparently, in addition to Diaz I'm assuming rather than it being one or the other..
  17. Riis on the bench for Preston tonight and a few whispers he might be off, Boro interested. Would people take him? Definitely not as a Diaz replacement (if required) but as additional backup? Bit of a Danish connection....
  18. Strange one Nice. Although so was Kasper going there as well I guess. Rather let him go for nothing than take anything like 10m though tbh.
  19. We'd all be walking around with our willy's hanging out if that happened, I think it's unlikely though 😆 Just 2 of them would do me
  20. It'll be interesting to see if Ayala gets 'injured' so much under a manager he likes playing for (assuming he will like JDT anyway, who the hell wouldn't?!?!) In 5 seasons out of 7 at Boro he played 30-odd games. Van Den Berg is going to be the end of the month I would imagine. Matip is out for 2 weeks, his progress will be the pending factor in him being released, Gomez should be ok to start their next game. As an aside they do seem to have a number of crocks who are always injured.
  21. Don't really understand your post sorry. What I will say is I'm willing to bet that last season Phillips would have stayed on the pitch longer, maybe even Brittain too (both wrongly of course). We seem to have a more cautious approach this season, I'm convinced our old manager overruled advice from performance/medical staff at times. Pure speculation of course and not based on any facts.
  22. Apart from injuries and fatigue 😏
  23. Looks like there's rain forecast pre match and it's a bit cooler which I'm sure the players will be pleased with, although I wouldn't be adverse to resting a couple for this if they're not 100% - no disrespect to Reading but I'd expect Sheff Utd to be a tougher test. I'm trying to move away from our previous manager, but we 100% would have lost this game under him. I've got renewed confidence in JDT, first and foremost he doesn't come out pre match bigging up the opposition which got right on my tits. 2-0 away win.
  24. Fully agree on this. If I was in his position I'd be happy to stay this season anyway, another impressive season and imagine all the offers he would have from clubs at the end of the season with him being A)more proven B)free. As it stands we're not really aware of any concrete interest in him, he's still classed as high risk I would say as well, he might be nowhere near as good this season (although early signs are good!).
