Regarding the shop reopening, does seem a bit pointless at this stage. Numbers through the door would be pretty much non-existent now. Opening weeks ago would have made sense with it being holiday season, kids off etc but now they're back I assume you'd have a handful of pensioners and maybe the odd person nipping in on a lunch break (although not sure what for). The time to reopen is when we have something worthwhile to sell now, so when the kits are available, some form of season ticket available and of course I hate to say it but Christmas is gonna be on people's minds before too long for gift ideas.

The problem with last minute is its already fast approaching last minute, just over a week to go till the season starts. I actually think West Brom are fannying about in a similar manner too which is making things even worse for us! No excuse but that's how I'm seeing it due to the whole Kipre shambles. As it stands I think they've only confirmed one signing themselves, Pereira, who was on loan there last season anyway. They most definitely need a few bodies through the door to stand even a remote chance of survival next season. On top of Kipre they just seem to be 'trying for players, Karlan Grant, Button etc and nothing to show for it.

The longer the Kipre situation rumbles on, the less interested I am in signing him. Not sure exactly who or what is causing such a delay but it just needs sorting one way or another then we can (presumably) just move on - until something is final we're just in limbo and sneaking closer to the start of the season.
