I'm not getting one this year but it's purely because there's no value in it given my circumstances. I'll miss most midweek games due to work/family commitments and miss a few weekend games because my other half has to work some weekends and other social commitments usually crop up too. What would appeal to me is a membership scheme similar to the Blackpool model: Adult, Young Adults (18-21) and Senior Memberships are just £15 for the season and includes: - £5 discount on all matchday tickets (1 per member) - Priority purchase on away ticket (after season ticket holders) Sounds like they've done it so they can charge away fans 30 quid a pop but their members would get equivalent tickets at 25 a pop too, quite clever if a little bit naughty. Simple yet effective if you ask me and I'd buy one tomorrow as it'd suit me down to the ground.

Well its a ridiculous, inaccurate comparison then isn't it 🙄 Most of them have been proactive and managed to get their numbers up, apart from Wigan who seem as bad as us on that front - although they have shifted around 6k apparently.

Sam did a great job, no doubt about it, I'd never have got rid of him the way we did. I think ultimately we'd have started to struggle though ala Dyche at Burnley. He only really had 1 way to play, suss that out and you're snookered. I guess that's part of the reason I'm excited for next season, fresh ideas, tactics, players (hopefully). Had Mowbray still been somehow in charge I'd be dreading it.....

Think people might be reading a bit too much into the body language of Dack etc. He's lost most of his pals now though, Bell, Mulgrew, Rothwell and Johnson were all pally with him, think there's just Brereton left now really. I'd like to think he's not daft enough to be sulking about that or Uncle Tony moving on but you never know. There'll no doubt be some interviews with the players next week amidst PST so we'll see.

A name I don't think anyone even suggested (apart from me obviously 🙃) but I'm happy. A bit of a journey into the unknown but it's got the potential to be an exciting season - MUCH better than appointing a washed up old manager just for their experience. Bring on the new season🇩🇰

Moran will always be one of my favourite all time players, everything a defender should be and exactly the type of chap you'd want next to you in the trenches. Ironically he probably wouldn't even be considered a Premier league player these days, can barely think of any hard as nails no nonsense centre halves, the obsession seems to be with them being able to bring the ball out of defence 🥴

If the sales are as dire as it looks, surely Waggotts job should be on the line? I know we're not a normally run club but surely he has some sort of KPI/target to meet?

The reason last season went tits up is because Mowbrays tactics were sussed out and he refused to adapt. So no, not really Mowbray all over again. A manager SHOULD adapt tactics depending on opposition.

Why exactly? Championship football isn't some kind of unique form of football so why is there an obsession with experience in it? In recent years you've had managers of the likes of Norwich with Farke and Brentford with Frank, Watford with Xisco all nailing promotion, all starting out as championship rookies so to speak. If you're a good manager you're a good manager, whether JDT will be who knows, but it's ridiculous to write anyone off purely for not having this magical 'championship experience'. On the flipside you've had countless managers WITH championship experience like Hughton and Pearson flopping in recent years.

Knutsen isn't in the running and hasn't even been spoken to according to Sharpe, sorry to shatter your dreams on that one. I'd say its almost certainly gonna be JDT now.

I'd probably give him a shot tbh, no pun intended, but I think he'd at least get us scoring goals. Used to love watching him as a player. Obviously did a good job at Malmo and whilst they are one of the bigger clubs in Sweden it's not a 1 or 2 horse race to be fair. As I mentioned in the original post it might be a Graham Potteresque appointment and he's not done so bad....
