  1. Bielsa is being linked with jobs on the international scene, I've scene Bolivia and Columbia mentioned in recent weeks. You'd have thought something like that would appeal more to a 66 year old but you never know.
  2. Weird form of attention seeking which as you say he's been at for years. Obviously works on the basis that if he makes enough bullshit up, the law of averages says he will eventually get something right through pure luck. Pretty much like his dire gambling 'tips'.
  3. Di Matteo seems to have various cryptic links. He replaced Paul Ince at MK Don's when we appointed him. He replaced Mowbray at WBA when he left for Celtic. He was replaced by Appleton as caretaker at WBA too. Coincidence or dodgy agents at work? He actually doesn't have too bad a record but certainly wouldn't be first choice. Hasselbaink isn't even worth commenting on really, on the basis Mercer has never got anything right, ever, despite trying ro claim he has info.
  4. Dyche was on over 3m a year, they'd pull their faces paying anything like that, Farke should be a lot cheaper.
  5. On this basis it makes even more sense to appoint Farke. He brought numerous youth players into the first team, good players too. Aarons, Cantwell, Jamal Lewis. Depends who's taking care of the recruitment but if they're aware of of details like that their ears should be pricking up.
  6. Maja scored 1 goal for Stoke, not exactly prolific. Obafemi has started to look half decent though, although hardly any of our fans (on here anyway) wanted him...
  7. In fairness I think most of us were happy when Lambert was appointed, but that's probably the only one in the Venkys era. Obviously that went tits up anyway though.
  8. Farke now the bookies favourite on sky, its probably on the back of what Nixon said though, only takes a couple of bets to sway a small market like this.
  9. How can it be considered a credible list when they have Lambert on it
  10. Poor yesterday but it didn't wind me up as in previous weeks as we're at the end of the Mowbray era and have an opportunity. That's all it is though and it could obviously get even worse. Glad I didn't bother getting a brum ticket which I was seriously considering on Tuesday! I doubt yesterday will have done much to convince the floating fans in attendance to go for a season ticket either πŸ€”
  11. Interesting, Jones does quite a few prem games. Watch him be horrific now 🀣
  12. FB is an endless cycle of losing a game and Mowbray Out posts and winning games and WhErE are ThE mOwBrAy OuT bRiGaDe NoW posts, it's not good for a person's sanity.
  13. On the ref, wasn't our biggest gripe with him last time against Huddersfield that he turned a few penalties down? No point us getting them bastard things anyway given the last few efforts! Suppose we'd have Brereton to take them again now mind. It's a stupid decision putting him in charge as it does put unnecessary pressure on if there's big calls to make, he'll be aware people have sussed out where he's from and who he supports. But let's just get on with it and hope we can get the job done without him having an opportunity to impact the result. There's very few top notch alternatives anyway, most refs at this level and below are garbage.
  14. Is that a suggestion? QPR have bottled it as well this season in a similar fashion to us, their fans don't seem to speak very highly of him...
  15. Sharpe is saying that he's been trying for 'some time' to get an interview with Swag to discuss TM and also season tickets. He's had no joy. Is he just being ignorant? Secretive? Or has he no f*cking idea what's going on himself. Take your pick really as none of them would come as a surprise. Either way, as people have already said its no way to treat an employee.
  16. It's early πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ
  17. I assume he's referring to us being Lutons rival, they play Fulham on Monday by which time they COULD be within our reach
  18. I reckon there'd be quite a surge of pay on the day folk in the Darwen end if QPR won on the Friday, you're gonna have a chunk of casual fans umming and ahhing still. Regardless of that result I just hope we can put on a good show and if nothing else derail Bournemouths automatic promotion bid. Honestly think they'd struggle in the play offs. You'd think after Monday night the tombola would be packed away in his shed with a dust cover on till next season, in reality I bet he's itching to tinker though 😬 I think the only guarantee on Saturday is goals and lots of them, could be quite some game.
  19. Nyambe has no attacking threat? Terrible going forward, Lenihan offered far more so that's an odd comment to make. Nyambe is a good defender, but that's all he is good at. Which is ultimately why I can't see him being offered a deal in a higher league than the championship.
  20. Blimey I'm amazed by that to be honest!
  21. Even if Sheff Utd win on Friday I hope we can beat this lot, they really are a tinpot outfit and I'd much rather Forest went up. I bet they bring a paltry 300 or so away fans too. Will they be rattled after a pasting off Swansea? Or will we see a backlash...
  22. Not it sheff utd win on Friday it wouldn't, then there's goal difference to factor in too...not to mention boro buzzing around, we really could do with them losing tomorrow
  23. Did anyone notice how Mowbray sloped off down the tunnel at the end, whilst the players went to mutually celebrate with the fans? Not sure if it's Mowbray just being Mowbray or if he's thinking eff off I know you lot don't like me, I'm going for a brew and some lemon drizzle. That said, does he EVER look remotely happy?
  24. Ironically he played Gallagher as a central striker at Deepdale the other season when we let the 2 goal lead slip and he was on the scoresheet then too.
  25. Yeah, I perhaps undercooked it, but it was such an enjoyable performance. Possibly the best all season.
