  1. Kean wasn't sacked? Amazing that people still think he was!
  2. It's the hope that kills you chaddy. Regarding Accy Stanley, they're completely showing us up on many levels. You probably see as many kids in Stanley shirts as Rovers these days round here. Whilst that's partly to do with us not being as attractive a proposition these days, we could still appeal more to a child than Accy. My daughters school whilst not in Blackburn, is less than 5 miles from Ewood yet the effort from the club is zero.
  3. There's a player in there, he's just completely unsuitable for the style Dyche insists on playing. Not sure if he had no say in the signing or whether it was just a panic buy - they need a Wood type player for hoof ball though and thG he certainly is not!
  4. In fairness they've managed to shift over 12k season tickets for next season. Can you see our owners under the guidance of Swag doing the same?
  5. Did he say who else appears in the video? I can just picture it now, a video announcing Mowbrays new contract with him pottering about urging fans to join him and the patched up team next season giving it 'a really good go'. Part of me is sat here now thinking this could actually happen too, just imagine 😳
  6. I just want this damn season to end now to be honest. Every time I get my hopes up I end up bitterly disappointed and in a foul mood. Non football fans (weird folk) will never understand how much football influences your mood. A lot of the blame has been allocated to Mowbray, which is fair. Yesterday however it felt like the players didn't give a shit either. I was going to fork out to go Peterborough on Friday, but after that showing I'll not be bothering now and will go out with the family instead.
  7. I'm going 3-0 home win. I've said before I think we'll go on a decent run now and miss out on play offs by a point or goal difference.
  8. On the flipside, how many extra season tickets would sell with a new manager in place? Not many I'd imagine. The 'fan' base is stale as anything and people simply aren't arsed. Opposition fans singing "your grounds too big for you" and "your support is effin shite" have a solid point. These mythical thousands people are hoping exist, don't. I want Mowbray gone as much as most do, he is however just the lead clown in this circus that stinks to high heaven.
  9. Yep my thoughts exactly. I think they may well go down after last night. I also don't think they'd bounce back up either, so many poor players, half of whom weren't cheap either, I mean who the hell signed the cheque off for Iwobi? I'd be getting shut of Lampard and sending out an SOS to a manager with experience of a dogfight today.
  10. Annoyingly he's the best defender we own too, just seemingly got a total disregard for those paying his wages
  11. In name only, the weather is absolutely trash and shows no sign of changing any time soon. Although we were supposed to be getting a heatwave in April 🤷
  12. We've gone from stock piling midfielders to being pretty thin on the ground.... I expect most of our business will be loan deals, although in fairness we've done pretty well in the past few seasons on that front. Maybe 2 permanent signings. All depends on the Brereton situation though. I'd be delighted if we could tie Lenihan down. Not particularly arsed about Rothwell going now, Nyambe I can live with providing we sort a decent replacement. Ideal scenario would be Mowbray saying his goodbyes last game of the season and we get a new man in ASAP so he can hopefully bring a few new faces in. I would however be surprised if this happens....IF he goes we'll no doubt dawdle and get someone in a day before the new season kicks off. If he signs a new contract, well actually I don't even want to think about that scenario 😪
  13. They might, but will they actually spend it? They've been reluctant to do so in the prem for the most part, which may well finally catch up with them this time.
  14. Pickering had a bad game, but do you think he's a poor player? I think he's been a good signing. Zeefuik may well stay, but we need assurances he's not a crock first 😕
  15. Referee isn't to blame, we were play acting/time wasting and karma bit us I'm afraid.
  16. I've see a few people say this. You do realise they'll lose half their team at the end of the season, all the decent players? Their only hope is keeping hold of Weghorst who'll most likely do a Mitrovic and score a load if he stays. Utterly deflated after another late goal, although I half expected it 😔 We looked like the Rovers from the first half of the season second half and Dacky and Diaz starting (hopefully) could still make a difference, all hope isn't lost just yet. A lethargic/injured Nyambe cost us the game.
  17. I haven't seen us win away all season, I'm going today, surely the laws of averages mean a win at some point - I've never been a full season without at least 1 away win I don't think 😕 I accept no responsibility if we balls things up again though....
  18. Usual easy group then, it's coming home songs aplenty then flop when it gets to the later stages 🤔
  19. Rothwell has also been shite since January incidentally. Not sure I'd drop him but he needs a rocket up his backside.
  20. Coventry are in pretty dire form as well as us apart from that freak win vs Sheff Utd when they battered them...Good luck to anyone attempting a prediction for this! Looking forward to it personally. A new ground to tick off the list, many beers and some proper (hopefully) football. The line up obviously depends on a number of injury concerns but it must surely be time for Dack to start? As a side note - did anyone go to Coventry away early 90's, think it was the last away game of the season a night game? Still one of my favourite away days although we got beat. Many rovers were in fancy dress, remember batman and robin going on the pitch when we scored an equaliser at one point 😆
  21. He's probably early himself a place on the bench on Saturday if we're being honest. He looked like he stretched a bit when scoring, he's a young boy and he needs to learn to let his body recover (said in my best Mowbray voice).
  22. How's it clear he wasn't fit? Its almost 2 weeks since OUR last game, things change over that period of time. I didn't watch their game but it doesn't sound like he was off the pace from the reports I've seen. If he'd broken down after 10 minutes then yes, he was clearly unfit, but he didn't.
  23. Bit sad some of the bitterness towards Chile, who have without a doubt contributed towards the success Brereton has had this season. If we want to see him back in OUR first team he obviously needs some minutes under his belt, there's no u23 games till next Monday. Obviously it would be much more ideal if he'd done that in Bromley Cross rather than Chile but it is what it is, rest up on a flight home. Doubt he'll start at weekend but should make the bench at least. Such a shame Ben won't make an appearance in the world cup finals this time round to complete the fairytale but at least age is on his side.
  24. He doesn't know the meaning of the word tired
