  1. Nyambe has no attacking threat? Terrible going forward, Lenihan offered far more so that's an odd comment to make. Nyambe is a good defender, but that's all he is good at. Which is ultimately why I can't see him being offered a deal in a higher league than the championship.
  2. Blimey I'm amazed by that to be honest!
  3. Even if Sheff Utd win on Friday I hope we can beat this lot, they really are a tinpot outfit and I'd much rather Forest went up. I bet they bring a paltry 300 or so away fans too. Will they be rattled after a pasting off Swansea? Or will we see a backlash...
  4. Not it sheff utd win on Friday it wouldn't, then there's goal difference to factor in too...not to mention boro buzzing around, we really could do with them losing tomorrow
  5. Did anyone notice how Mowbray sloped off down the tunnel at the end, whilst the players went to mutually celebrate with the fans? Not sure if it's Mowbray just being Mowbray or if he's thinking eff off I know you lot don't like me, I'm going for a brew and some lemon drizzle. That said, does he EVER look remotely happy?
  6. Ironically he played Gallagher as a central striker at Deepdale the other season when we let the 2 goal lead slip and he was on the scoresheet then too.
  7. Yeah, I perhaps undercooked it, but it was such an enjoyable performance. Possibly the best all season.
  8. They're in poor form if you put the Coventry game to one side, but then I guess so are we apart from tonight....
  9. I should be buzzing after that, it's just tinged with a bit of frustration knowing we SHOULD have played that for the past few months! Literally every player played well, mainly down to them playing in their proper positions, who would have thought it? Lenihan who perhaps was the most out of position offered more in 1 game going forward than Nyambe has the last few months. All eyes on Loftus Road on Friday I guess, Saturday COULD be absolutely huge!
  10. I asked Sharpe if he was going to ask Waggott like Mowbray told him to, no reply. Also no reply when I asked him if he was going to remind Mowbray he said he'd walk if he became a burden on the club, which he clearly now is. Edit - literally just replied saying he's looking to get something sorted for next week....
  11. Your best source of info from the club is Twitter (or this site), obviously Twitter doesn't appeal to all our fanbase though! I just have notifications on for the official page.
  12. See this is exactly part of the problem. You think if someone didn't agree with your method of protest they didn't 'care less'. Its not only a wrong assumption, it can make you come across as a bit of a tit.
  13. Jesus, just watched the 'promotional video' for season tickets. I was expecting something a bit better when someone mentioned they were filming one at Ewood 🤣 Birdie isn't in it..... His missus made the cut though.
  14. I'm in a minority but I don't think the prices are THAT bad on the face of it. However - the levels of apathy are spiralling out of control at the moment so the numbers will be way down on last year and at rock bottom I think. People would be prepared to pay a bit more if the product is worth it. As it stands we're really not sure of the product on offer though. There remains the chance that Mowbray is still in charge and hell fire I dread to think of the numbers if that was the case. If they announced I dunno, Farke as the new manager about to take us on an exciting journey it would stir more interest. The deadline is unreasonable for the 'cheaper prices too. From the end of the season to the deadline is roughly a month. If we're still none the wiser at that stage who our manager is why the hell are folk going to commit? We don't rush things so even if they announced Mowbray is leaving, how long would they piss fart about getting a new man in? Till after the deadline you can guarantee!
  15. As will many! The biggest marketing tool available is to announce he's going and confirm someone half decent is coming in.....
  16. It'll be interesting to see the details for the flexi ticket, I've been saying they should do one for years! EDIT ah scrap that I mis-read it. its an international flexi ticket.
  17. I mean you get some pretty stupid comments on here but..... They would have easily disposed of that Southampton team under Dyche too, they were simply not up for it. Luckily for them they still have a few other teams to play who will already be on the beach too, much like half our players already are.
  18. I think I'll decide after the results on Saturday if I'll go or not. If the teams around us all win I'll not bother. It's not like it'll be difficult to get a ticket as we're faced with out lowest following for some time given a culmination of reasons. The tombola needs a massive spin regardless. If it's a nothing game which I expect, play some of the players who'll actually be here next season. Vale, Dack and Hedges should get a run out.
  19. So if Dave Sheron is pulling strings, his cousin Mike is already at Rovers managing our U23 team...... What are the chances of our next first team manager being....Mike Sheron? Easily passed off as an internal promotion for Mike. Or am I reading too much into it? 🥲
  20. Whilst I agree with it being weak, is it going to be any stronger next season? If Burnley come down they've got a massive rebuilding job given the out of contract players and likelihood of the decent players being snapped up. If Norwich and Watford join then they'd more than likely be up there similar to Fulham/Bournemouth this season. After that though there's not gonna be much in it, depending on how teams recruit. I think the championship has been getting gradually weaker every year to be honest. Highlighted by how Norwich breezed it last year and then went onto flop in the prem. Even the prem itself now has a gulf opening up. Liverpool and City are a class above. You then have a bunch of teams who are essentially just battling it out for European places. Then the rest. As such you're going to get the liles of Everton, Leeds, Newcastle and Villa flirting with relegation if they aren't careful.
  21. I didn't think it was possible to play worse in a first half than against Derby. We just managed it. Absolutely pathetic, again wondering why I'm bothering to watch as I'm left feeling majorly pissed off with the gutless display on show. Cannot wait for this season to end, if that clown is still here I seriously doubt I will watch a single game.
  22. As well as Sharpe becoming more critical of Mowbray, I also thought the commentary team had changed their tune when watching the posh game. They normally try and put a positive spin on things but were deflated and basically saying "this is shite and unacceptable".
  23. Edun will be thankfully suspended won't he? 😎
  24. Christ I don't think I've been less interested in a game in a long time. Depending on how Boro get on in the early KO we could somehow sneak back in the top 6 temporarily till the evening games. Stoke seem to have beaten decent teams lately and lost to shite ones. I guess that makes this a home banker 🤯 7-0 Rovers
  25. I'd reluctantly have to take some time away from the club if he did. I'd probably still do a few away days with mates but wouldn't be stepping foot in Ewood. I keep saying this but the people in charge, not just at Rovers, have no idea how much football means to us, we can't just shrug and get on with it. At a time people are having to make cut backs and budget accordingly, Blackburn Rovers will be way down peoples lists at present. Burnley are lucky they sold so many season tickets up front cos I imagine they'll face some fan backlash over the Dyche sacking.
