  1. Some really odd negativity in here, but I guess that's the mood around the fanbase right now. Another great kit in my eyes πŸ‘ Regarding the availability, does anyone know where the kits are made? I would assume Italy? We're in the midst of a global shipping crisis, take it from someone who knows its an absolute nightmare getting stock right now and no sign of it easing unless you pay way over the odds. We're going to see many empty shelves and inflated prices in shops pre Xmas folks so my advice to you all is buy early this year!
  2. Not really no. Their manager is a wanker, the diving antics of many of their players disgraceful and now they'll have the influx of premiership bandwagon jumpers in the ground. Each to their own though, of course they are in a MUCH better position than us, certainly not everything I want to be though as a club! On Raya, he was exposed many times in the championship so God help him in the prem. We have a much better keeper between our sticks, that's one thing we've definitely got over Brentford right now.
  3. We have a half decent record vs Millwall for some reason. Pretty sure it won't be a game of many goals, apart from that not really sure what to expect. We could do with Cooper not starting, I think he came on the other night for a while in his injury comeback. I'll go 1-1, Rothwell to slot one in from the edge of the box. It's possible we could be top of the league Sunday morning if we scraped a win, imagine how giddy Facebook mowbrayites would get 😳
  4. Wasn't the new guy supposed to be taking care of this side of things? John Park? Who came in with the title of head of recruitment and has recruited, well absolutely pissing nobody 🀣 you can't script this circus you really can't.
  5. Am I missing something, are we basing this Obafemi turned us down conclusion on some wank football insider Web page or other sources? Doesn't exactly sound legit on there...
  6. Hell fire Jim a lots changed since 2002! The cup has been completely devalued. Its essentially a competition for reserves teams for the most part until teams start thinking they have have a chance of winning it. Even the FA cup has lost a lot of its magic but I'd still MUCH prefer a good run in that. I didn't want to lose last night as I never do but it's not particularly distressing to me that we're out.
  7. It's done nothing whatsoever to change my opinion, I wanted the clown out before and I still want him out now. I just couldn't care less about going out of the fake red bull cup.
  8. Amazed how bothered people are about this game, the attendance suggested otherwise! Glad to be out of the joke cup to be honest especially with our threadbare squad. Admittedly shouldn't be losing to Morecombe with that lineup though, most teams made many changes for it.
  9. Imagine doing business the Southampton way. Bid accepted Monday, by Tuesday afternoon Armstrongs medical all done and dusted and parading around in his new teams kit doing kick abouts for the press. Meanwhile we're bumbling about doing god knows what behind the scenes with literally nothing to show for it yet.
  10. The fee will be undisclosed anyway
  11. I known they can't force him but the worry is that it would be a reluctant move rather one filled with enthusiasm. OR he could view it as a chance to kick-start his career, just a bit wary that's all - although struggling to think of many realistic alternatives so.....
  12. Mixed views on Obafemi tbh. If he's being used purely as a make weight to bring the fee down for Southampton is his heart gonna be in it? Sounds like he might have a bit of an attitude to start with, I'd Mowbray really gonna get on with him? Despite the above we do need to strengthen though in this window 100%. When Gallagher (who I'm not even the biggest fan of) went down injured on Saturday it was worrying, we're walking far too much of a tightrope.
  13. Best of luck to Armo, really hope the next stage in his career is a successful one. I don't think he's going to be truly prolific but 12-15 goals is probably achievable. He needs to improve his finishing for sure, chances in the prem won't be anything like as numerous as last season. Then he's also got the added hindrance of VAR catching him offside.
  14. Our paper tickets didn't scan, steward was clueless and said to go the ticket office. I just climbed over it was a few minutes to 3 so couldn't be arsed with that
  15. He's had a good pre season, I'd be amazed if he's shipped out on loan now
  16. He's playing for Liverpool now in what's a strong team and basically not far off their starting 11 next week. Not sure why they'd do that if he's going out on loan as reported.
  17. Agreed, was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere yesterday and actually can't wait for the next league game now πŸ’™πŸ€
  18. I can't even tell what lager people bought for me tbh, it was shite though🀣
  19. I was being sarcastic, although he was a fraud as a footballer
  20. What a bloody day. You stay aways don't know what you're missing.
  21. They tweeted something about it not being shown as it had been selected for live overseas broadcast yesterday. Not sure if that was just for UK based subscribers or what though tbh as paid little attention!
  22. I for one will be glad to see DG back at the club he's always welcome in my eyes πŸ’™πŸ€
  23. Maybe to drown out Mowbray out chants if things are going tits up
